Mike Honcho 5,332 Posted Thursday at 09:10 PM https://www.espn.com/contributor/adam-schefter/094c19ca0e1bc ESPN Sources: Cowboys are trading three-time All-Pro LB Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Parsons and the Packers already have reached agreement on a four-year, $188 million contract. @DavidMulugheta of @Athletesfirst had a hand in the trade and ultimately negotiating the record-breaking contract that includes $120 million fully guaranteed at signing and makes Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history. Vikings4ever 567 Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Not looking forward to the Vikings facing him twice a year, but Jesus is that a lot of money.
polecatt 480 Posted Thursday at 10:14 PM Now I can see why Jerry wanted to trade him... He's not worth that kind of money
nobody 2,733 Posted Thursday at 10:52 PM Spotty internet. What did the cowboys get in return? Nevermind. Finally got twitter to load. Two first and Kenny Clark.
Maximum Overkill 2,167 Posted Thursday at 11:05 PM I love Parsons but The Cowboys won that trade.
listen2me 23 1,906 Posted Friday at 10:33 AM As a Packers fan I like the trade a ton. It makes sense for the Packers. Anytime you can trade 2 late firsts for a 26 year old future HOFer I would say just do it.

If they can get 2 starters out of the 2 picks, this is a good deal for them, especially if Parsons continues his descent into La'Varr Arrington levels of uncoachability

But hes diminishing. About to be 30. PFF is not everything at all. But he hasnt had better than a 62 run D grade in last 4 seasons. Packers were going to cut him next offseason. Packers paid much of his salary this year in rosters bonus. His salary next 2 years is not guaranteed but goes up significantly. If they cant agree to a restructure, I could see them cutting him. From everyone from execs to football heads....Dallas got a poor return. But thats what happens when you trade a guy like this 1 week before the start of the lague year. Jamal Adams, a safety...got a bigger haul.

nobody 2,733 Posted Saturday at 03:34 PM Khalil Mack to the bears situation. He'll ball out this year thanks to the chip on his shoulder and go back to just being good when he's not injured.
Maximum Overkill 2,167 Posted Saturday at 04:41 PM A defensive player doesn't make QB difference money. I think it's a stupid contract and that Dallas made out like a bandit. They will now have multiple 2027 first round picks for what's slated to be one of the best QB drafts ever. Green Bay now has 2 years to win a Superbowl before their Deshaun Watsonish contract kicks in, which they won't. A defensive player doesn't make that much of a difference. Take a look around the league if you don't believe me
