I used to be a big reader , graduated from Northeastern with an English degree. Hate most of the classics, to me the classics . Anyway I’ve gotten back into reading and found it relaxing , James Ellroy ,  Cormac McCarthy etc.  I’ve recently gotten into Mickey Spillane.
Anyone else read?

Read most nights as going to bed. Only make it a.few pages so books last forever. I read mostly trash or easy stuff. John Grisham, books about golf, books about surfing,  post apocalypse genre, the occasional biography.

Read on Kindle so usually pick the next book up based on their reccos.

😂 the backlight also helps a lot. The store interface is crap but having the bookstore all in there is very nice. Current read is “The Match” about a bet between two millionaires led to a round of golf between Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan against amateurs Harvie Ward and Ken Venturi. Kind of like “Seabiscuit” in the way they are building up the story.

Ludlum is possibly my favorite.  The Matarese Circle is a classic.

Then again, I used to love Encyclopedia Brown and Peanuts. Oh...And Garfield
