The United States has seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, President Trump announced on Wednesday, an escalation in his administration’s pressure campaign against Nicolás Maduro, the leader of Venezuela.

“As you probably know, we’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela,” Mr. Trump said during a White House event on the launch of a new luxury visa program. “A large tanker, very large. Largest one ever seized, actually, and other things are happening.”

It's just a Trump clown show that puffs up the MAGAs. He doesn't have the balls to do anything about the drugs coming in from the primary places - China and Mexico. 

Almost nothing comes from Venezuela, so it's about putting on a show with an alterior motive for Venezuela, that being regime change and sticking his straw into that country's natural resources. He'll profiteer off it and then say he has nothing to do with the family business involved in the proceedings.
