dain11279 980 Posted September 15 If the Bills don’t get the #1 seed this year they never will. It can’t be set up any better for them now. KC 0-2, tiebreaker over Baltimore and Glass Joe Burrow out for the year basically.

listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 15 Bengals werent a threat. They didnt even make the playoffs last season and Burrow threw for Tommy Maddox type stats. Of course they do play them this season, but other than that.
listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 15 But the early days of the Williams era, following his selection as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, have been a bit erratic. That might be best summed up by a couple statistics involving Chicago's punter, Tory Taylor. Taylor joined the Bears before the 2024 season as a rookie draft pick, same as Williams. And when Taylor had his first media availability following the Williams draft pick, he revealed he had gotten a text from the QB that said, "Hey, you're not going to punt too much here." NFL analyst Bruce Irons provided the counterpoint Monday on X, two weeks into the 2025 season. "Since this text, Tory Taylor has punted 92 times," Irons writes. "That is the most in the NFL." You can also compare punt yardage to passing yardage if you want to have more fun with this connection. Taylor has 4,389 punt yards in his first 19 games with the Bears. Williams has 3,958 passing yards in his first 19 games with the Bears. That doesn't seem ideal.

Maximum Overkill 2,320 Posted September 15 The Eagles played one of their worst games in years and still beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead. The Chiefs are in trouble, they probably won't make it out of the division. The Eagles would of beat them by 3 TDs again if they just played their normal game. The Giants are tougher than I thought they could be and we made Wilson look like a Super Hero Bland being out hurt for sure. Diggs needs to step up. And it seems like we're missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it but Wilson seemed to have all day to sit in the pocket and pick our secondary apart.

listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 16 Not saying Jeanty will bust. But what do franchises actually think they are doing? Take a RB that high with a ton touches in college. Still need a QB. Grab Geno in order to try and grind to a not top pick. Maybe give Jeanty 260 carries this year that are all for nothing. What exactly is the plan in drafting a RB that high when you dont have a QB of your future? Plus all the other things they need. What good does wearing down a RB for a few years while you build a roster do? Is there a point?
listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 16 Some people also thought Pete Carroll was a good hire. For what? 2 mediocre seasons and then you have to find a new guy because Pete is 97 years old? Bizarre

listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 16 To rant some more. CJ Stroud put himself 3rd best QB after his rookie year. His rankings went Pat Lamar Himself Dak Hurts. People then said what about Allen? He said he forgot him. So snuck Allen in behind himself and took Hurts off. Lol.

Pat, Lamar, Dak, Hurts and Allen might be doing their best David Carr impressions behind that O-Line
listen2me 23 1,930 Posted September 16 Not trying to say his line is good. But saw this tweet. Last Year, C.J. Stroud threw 10 interceptions when NOT pressured according to TruMedia. Only Baker Mayfield (12) and Aaron Rodgers (11) threw more, but each had 75+ more passing attempts. The idea Stroud's issues are all structure is just ... wrong.
