What?!?! How? On the last play of the game he was running fine was not touched.  His a$$ got benched.

Tend to agree.  High ankle sprain is like a six week injury.  I don't think he'd be out there running around.

at some point in the game there was a focus on him having his ankle taped up.   Its possible he hurt it earlier in the game and didnt tighten up until the game was over.

it is also possible it was a benching but they are sparing him the pubic humiliation

I'm not saying you guys are wrong.  but it is also possible its both.

He was moving poorly, but I could have sworn he was scrambling late in the game.   He's a really tough dude if he was running in a high ankle sprain.

I do remember on one of their last possessions, he tried to scramble up through a lane and a DT tackled him a bit awkwardly.  I thought at the time that I was surprised he just popped right up.

Also, if the injury is legit, remember my rule about announcing injuries early.  For every day before the game, that's a week, so it would be about 6 weeks given they announced it 6 days before game day.

Justin Jefferson owners rejoice!

Amen, true dat.

The kid is lost out there. I think he'll be very good someday but he's obviously nowhere near ready for the Vikings to contend. They should of just overpaid backup money to Danny Dimes just in case
