KC would beat any of these teams on a neutral field.  I see my Packers are #1.  But I never understood the idea of power rankings.

Like is KC 8th because they are 3-3?  Then if record matters why are 5-1 Colts behind them?

Tampa 5-1 is 5th?  Id maybe put them 1st.

I think a lot of people are really just ready for someone else to be the team to beat in the league.  But KC is starting to show, at least to me, it's still them.

It's way too early to really give much cred to an exercise like this, but Detroit by no means looked like the No. 2 team in the league on Sunday.  I could see merit to giving TB the #1 ranking for now.  But you definitely have some teams trending up (KC being one of those) and some teams trending down, like Detroit and Buffalo.

The Bucs have done amazingly well considering all the injuries we have. #1 RB out. #1,2,3 and 4 WR out. Starting guard and tackle out. Defense is going through the same thing. Hopefully we get healthy for the end of the season push and playoffs. I expect us to lose some games in the upcoming stretch. @Detroit. @ New Orleans. New England. @Buffalo. @Rams. But after that we could sweep the rest.

Any team in the top 15 would be 5-1 with the Colts cupcake schedule. Its like being impressed by Andy Kaufmann's W/L record in pro wrestling. Give the Colts the KC Chiefs schedule and see what happens.

The Colts won a coin flip with Denver and -give them the seven points they should have gotten vs the Rams but didn't due to the dumbest fumble in NFL history - and that game would have been a coin flip too. The rest of the teams they beat don't move the dial upwards. For the Colts to feel like they've arrived, they need a signature win.

Tampa's a good team coming off a couple of impressive wins and doing it with many injuries. There's also no shame in losing to Philly. Maybe I was unfair to them. I'd not been terribly impressed coming into the season and some of that bias may still be there. On the other end of that, there are also probably more cracks in Philly and Buffalo than I care to notice because until this week they'd been able to buff them out decently.

Lions/Bucs on MNF will be a good test for both those teams.

Colts also have highest point differential, so taking care of those teams.

Lions have 1 good win, maybe, the Ravens who have 1 win themselves, whose defense looked terrible until last week.  Lions lost to the 2 good teams they have played.  Sorta handled in both actually.

Using current records

Lions 4 wins.  The average record of teams they have beat sits at 1.75 wins per team.

Colts 5 wins.  The average record of teams they have beat sits at 2 wins per team.

I'm not in the "sky is falling" group like a lot of people are around here but I can assure you that Buffalo is not the 3rd best team in the league currently.
