i figured i'd put up a 0 in funny but I thought i'd do better with Hero, Villain and Sports than I ultimately did. 

Hero, for example, like the marvel movies or not, Tony Stark is the hero that launched the franchise into it's wild popularity. I also thought it was criminal Marty McFly was not drafted when Biff and George were. I almost put him as wildcard but I think he is well enough viewed as the hero of the back to the future movies.

Villain, even if people again don't like MCU and Thanos, had Freddy and Norman Bates. I'm not even a horror guy but those are two villains that immediately pop into mind. 

Sports also I thought was very strong. Adonis Creed probably hurt me there but I think Michael b Jordan does a great job and, at least the first 2 Creeds were a good return to the Rocky universe.  I probably should have plucked someone from Remember the Titans here.

 

Oddly, hot chicks might be my best category and I was kind of forced to go with sci-fi/fantasy women based on what was left.

I agree with others that you did a great job picking leftovers.  Regarding your performance, I'd bet that the majority of voters are those of us who drafted, and every character on your team was passed over 28 times by each of us.

For a few of yours listed here:  I thought about Thanos, but IMO he ended up being more of a wildcard IMO.  Norman Bates seems kinda chalky, vs. "I think this guy is really villainous."  I've never actually seen Psycho, I wonder if others here have.

Picks like Freddy were interesting.  I almost pulled the trigger on Michael Myers (who I'd have picked over Freddy FWIW) but nobody seemed to be going the slasher horror route.

Similar with MCU in general -- Thanos, Stark, nobody was going that route.  I'm not saying you were wrong to do so, because those areas clearly offered the most fertile fields.  But, I dunno, they didn't seem to fit the vibe of the draft.

both of these are fair points. I will say a lot of my picks are characters I would have drafted had I actually been in this from the start.  Stark/Ironman for sure, Marty McFly, Ty Webb, Lacy Underall... i may not have touched MCU other than Black Widow, though. Along with all the picked characters I would have been able to draft like Indiana Jones, Hans Gruber, Roy McAvoy, etc...    (David Simms from tin cup might have made for a good punchable face pick)

Great job by all. Outside of mine, of course, I had jerry 1st, Hell Toupee 2nd, and Biff 3rd. I wasn't a fan of people picking actual people, though some did including jerry and Biff. I also didn't like that people picked chicks they would like to bang vs characters they would like to bang. I liked that we all for the most part left out super heroes and horror villians. The one time that I was sort of sniped was when Hell Toupee took Mike Lafontaine from A Mighty Wind. I had planned to take Fred Willard from Best in Show. Didn't want to step on any toes, so shifted to Vince Vaughn in the Wedding Crashers.

I drafted both Biff and George. I went back and forth between Marty and George for most punchable. If my username wasn't BiffTannen and I hadn't already taken two from that movie I would have taken Marty.

Punchable was the most ambiguous category, I think. Even more so than wildcard. I used wildcard for what I felt were iconic characters that didn’t really fit as hero, villain, etc. 

I think a lot of Villains are punchable .. for example Biff. I don’t actually think of him as a true villain but I do think he has one of the most punchable faces. I tended to view the category as annoying/smarmy characters… hence Kevin from home alone, Worm from rounders, etc.
