Thanks for the details. Confirmed via multiple sources (CNN, Fox, NY Post): FBI arrested Brian Cole Jr., ~30, from Woodbridge, VA, on Dec 4, 2025, for planting pipe bombs near DNC/RNC on Jan 5, 2021. Identified by video, gait, clothing (hoodie, Nike shoes), cell pings. Some reports suggest anarchist leanings; motives unknown. Charges/presser expected Dec 5.

Home Depot credit card transactions and CCTV video evidence also link the suspect to the purchase of many of the materials used to make the 'pipe bombs'.

Why did Steven M. D'Antuono, Assistant Director in Charge of Washington Field Office, instruct the Special Agents given a  target sheet ("watch and pattern of life") on the person of interest to stand down?

D'Antuono was also in charge of the Gretchen Whitmer fednapping case.

D'Antuono retired when faced with having to face questioning from lawmakers.

Tapper must have been given false information before he went on the air. Journalists like Tapper generally don't just make a guess of the ethnicity of a suspect of a crime of this nature.
