I see your point about the administration policies but even under Biden/Trump1/Obama people were looked at very closely.

I do not see Muslims wanting to assimilate and make the USA better.  I see them as wanting to get a foothold in the U.S. and keep doing the same sh-t they do in their Country, thus making it another sh-thole country.  Look at the Michigan & the Minnesota Muslim communities.  We had our hands out & you think they made it better?  They do not assimilate to make America better.  Fact.

Look at the Countries that allowed them in en mass.  Now they know they made a mistake.   All of them, just not a few.

I thought I did, Patel’s family was from Uganda (I said Tanzania, close). They were expelled by Idi Amin & applied for asylum in the US. They lived in Canada before getting to the US. His family is not Christian. Not only is he considered not a risk, he oversees terrorism investigations.

Im not exactly sure why Melania Knauss Trump gets a pass, being raised communist but we’ll let that pass.

Here’s my experience with Arabs personally:

- Had a friend from Carville LA, turns out for some bizarre reason Lebanese moved there en masse decades years ago, kind of like Dearborn MI. Great guy, banker, wife is in marketing.

- Female, Lebanese, absolutely knock down gorgeous, worked wuth her, she moved away.

- Guy I went to school with, Syrian, had a friend I knew who was Greek & they’d say the funniest, foulest insults to each other. His dad was a cab driver in Damascus.

- 2 more Arab/muslim guys I know from working in my field, top notch professionals.

- A couple restaurants nearby run by great Arab guys, both families are involved, one doesn’t serve alcohol.

That’s my experience with assimilation.
