US economy increases by 4.3% in third quarter in fastest growth rate in 2 years - LIBERALS ARE LYING!!

Recommended Posts

WASHINGTON (TNND) — The U.S. economy increased by 4.3% in the third quarter, the Commerce Department announced in a report on Tuesday.

This is a faster pace than the second quarter, which was 3.8%, making it the fastest growth rate in two years.

The growth is booming partially due to investment in artificial intelligence and increased consumer spending, according to the Axios news outlet.

There is also another measure of growth which leaves out inventory and trade. The gauge increased by 3%, an increase from quarter two.

President Donald Trump said that this data is due to tariffs.

“The SUCCESS is due to Good Government, and TARIFFS. Consumer spending is STRONG, Net Exports are WAY UP, Imports and Trade Deficits are WAY DOWN, and there is NO INFLATION!” he wrote on TRUTH Social

Trump's economy surges on consumer spending, defying forecasts

Corporate profits helped drive growth, skyrocketing by more than $166 billion, up from a $6.8 billion increase during the previous quarter.

Trump and top administration officials say their policies will unlock the U.S. economy, ushering in a new golden age that will boost wages and generate jobs. Tuesday’s report is a sign that the White House is on its way toward meeting some of the lofty projections Trump’s allies had set when the president returned to the White House earlier this year. Business investments in equipment and intellectual property — which includes software and technological research — both continued to climb during the last quarter.

Yeah, I read this story on CNN this morning...who is lying?

I just read a story from CNN. They said it has nothing to do with Trump's policies 🤣

When the FUK will you people admit that things are going in the right direction?

Or are they so Libtarded that they'll just keep pushing the narrative that we're all starving to death?

Let me educate the "guys" here that don't understand economics:

GDP blowing out estimates in spite of slightly higher than ideal inflation and unemployment numbers signals a booming strong economy.  Historic.

You're really showing some ignorance each time you try to cherry pick numbers like this.  You should sit this one out.

Trump just said it’s Biden’s economy. I guess Joe is the greatest president ever then?

Not true, but how sad is it that fools would even endorse that ideal.   👆🏿

Merry Christmas.

Oh sweetie, too scared to look up a Trump speech from 5 days ago?

Any bad news, he blames Biden. Any good news, he takes credit. Granted, he’s far from the first President to do that, but still…

Right!  So this good news that we're talking about is his.  I told you you took it out of context. Thanks for playing.

Too easy.

Hey Tranny, prices are dropping dramatically. I just paid $2.15 a gallon for gas. Thank you Mr. Trump

When inflation occurs, do you cry about it or do something about it? Perhaps you are living over your head. Why don't you have money?

Gee, if only there was something to collaborate the claim.  Hmmmm, like what are the markets doing?  Oh look, S&P closed at a record high today.

Remember when you pretended to be a financial advisor?  LOL

Some magas lie to themselves and say groceries are cheaper

I'm hosting 20+ tomorrow and spent more than ever, $500 in food, $300 in booze.  Almost a $1k day for a home party.  Regular people can't afford this.

Hey, Corky. Here is what goes into a GDP report:

Quote
Core Components of GDP
  • Consumption (C): Spending by households on goods (durable & non-durable) and services, the largest part of GDP.
  • Investment (I): Business spending on capital goods (machinery, buildings), new housing, and changes in inventories.
  • Government Spending (G): Spending by all levels of government on goods and services (infrastructure, defense, salaries).
  • Net Exports (X-M): Value of exports (sold to other countries) minus imports (purchased from other countries).

I grabbed a tenderloin to make for Christmas, and it was double what I've paid before, but I feel all comfy cozy convincing myself that I actually paid less because Trump brainwashed me into thinking that.

Woo!

I guess 'those people' will just have to have a less extravagant family gathering. I'd also like to hear the breakdown on what type/amount of liquor/alcohol you bought for $300 ? Same for the $500 worth of food.

The most expensive item was the $190 prime rib.  Ham was $9 lol.  Shrimp was $50.  Charcuterie board was probably $80 or so. Also making a lasagna, scalloped potatoes, creamed kale, etc.

Booze was about a case of wine, prosecco, bottle of bourbon, some beers and other sh1t.

The prime rib did you in. Your family certainly likes wine, that's one thing we have in common. We all like wine, a few of them like to sip on cognac, others bring microbrew beer, but it's always bring your own alcohol.

I always fully stock but some people will bring.  Never ask, never take the chance.  I'm making a few cocktails too, holiday spritz and toasted bourbon.

Also do a.prime rib every year, most expensive it's ever been.

Got my prime rib for $12.99/lb.  Usually 18.99 - $19.99.   Probably need to make better life choices, like where you live and who you vote for.

So let me get this straight.

Trump tried to bully Georgia election officials into coming up with enough votes to carry the state. Then he managed to convince his lemmings that the 2020 election was stolen, which they still believe despite judges throughout the land  - including ones he appointed right up to the Supreme Court - tossing his frivolous election-fraud lawsuits that cost American taxpayers around $500 million.

He returns to the presidency and proceeds to give jobs to a bunch of incompetent, bootlicking nodding heads, only he fires the one over the U.S. Department of Labor after a jobs report that makes him butthurt.

Grocery prices and unemployment are on the rise, much of it tariffs-related.

Things are not rosey economically.

So we're supposed to get all full of hope and happiness because one of Trump's nodding heads puts out a report that the GDP grew more than expected in one quarter.

Woo!

🤣

All I do is look at my investment accounts that are up 20% - 25% YTD and smile.  That and prime rib that I noticed was only $12.99/lb.

Sorry you're suffering.

Holiday dinners are costing families more this year, especially when it comes to beef, as local meat shops grapple with rising wholesale prices.

At John Mulls Meats & Road Kill Grill, staff are busy filling holiday orders, but the price of beef has increased significantly. Prime rib, the most popular item this time of year, now costs customers $25 per pound.

“If you want a prime rib for Christmas, you are going to pay for prime rib,” said Chuck Frommer, owner of John Mulls Meats.

Sorry you have to shop at places that have crappy prime rib for cheap.
