Wintah Olympics - Fri, Feb 6, 2026 – Sun, Feb 22, 2026 GDC

Here's a breakdown of the sports and their disciplines: 


Biathlon: Combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting.
Bobsleigh: Includes Bobsleigh and Skeleton.
Curling: Team sport sliding stones on ice.
Ice Hockey: Team sport on ice.
Luge: Racing on a sled, on back.
Skating:
Figure Skating
Speed Skating
Short Track Speed Skating
Skiing:
Alpine Skiing
Cross-Country Skiing
Freestyle Skiing
Ski Jumping
Nordic Combined
Snowboard: Board-based snow sports.
Ski Mountaineering (Skimo): A new sport where athletes ski up and down mountains, making its Olympic debut.

I love Wintah and Summah Olympics.

Not many events I won't watch. Bring it on!  Great way to fill up time after the Supah Bowl

Figure skating is one of the best!!  The Quad God  (Ilia Malinin) going for gold. He is an absolute freak doing things no skater has ever done. I think there will never be a Quintuple.

I’ll leave that one for you. Not interested. I’ll take Super G downhill and the Biarhalon!

Used to go over my friends house as a teenager and we would all sit around the living room TV and watch.

I guess that's why I will watch just about anything on ESPN

I do love all the weird sports. Vividly remember watching a Chinese dude named Dong Dong dominate the trampoline in a bar in NYC at like midnight. Had the whole place cheering for him 😂

it all started with GLOW in the 80s for me. I used to record it to VCR and wax the dolphin

Those are the only events?  Always seemed like there were more.

Sort of.  The rink dimensions are slightly off.  And last time they tried playing on it, there was a big hole in the ice. :doh:
