This is maybe an out there theory but I do think the quest of “Why Minnesota?” is a matter of debate. And I think part of it is- just part - might be that Trump has repeatedly insisted he won Minnesota three times when of course he’s 0-3 there. (He’s 0-4 if you count the 2016 primary he lost to Rubio).

If you realize - per Trump - that Greenland was about his seething resentment over losing the Nobel Prize, which is something he thinks he truly deserved but was denied, and that that is a crazy idea unless held by an actual crazy person… it’s entirely possible this is all about Trump’s minions trying to flip MN to him. And also to please him as he lashes those who merely chose otherwise. I say partly because I do think there are people like Miller & Bannon who believe they can find an excuse to trigger the Insurrection Act.
