Good call.

I would guess most people in their championship game in fantasy are not starting very many players in this game. Also, Gore is the only one with some real points so far. A SF DST, an Ellington, and a Royal TD don't mean a whole lot. Most teams aren't playing these guys Thus, fantasy wasteland.

Besides.... Shouldn't you be secretly wanting the Niners to lose so they get a better draft pick?

Cool, thanks guy.

Really? Troll much?

And here I thought the Niners sucking would temper your posting. Guess not.

Troll much, hilarious from the guy who basically spends his entire waking day waiting on SF threads to jump in. Dude, you are the ultimate troll. I understand it though considering SF has ended your season the last few years. I would have a bad taste in my mouth when it came to the 9'ers as well if I was you.

Oh, and the 9'ers will be just fine for years to come by my friend, the team has talent to burn on defense. Something GB fans don't have to concern themselves with.

Right... I guess reality is an opposite nick name. I'll just go on ignoring you. I think it is best for all.

You seem to be in denial, I understand. Do yourself a favor, do a search on your name and anything concerning SF or Kaepernick. You're welcome in advance.

Speed, pure speed. 2nd longest run by a QB in NFL history. Dude is special, have to take the reins off next year injury concern or not. That part of his game simply has to be utilized.

So you want him to be a running back? NFL has proven a running QB doesn't work unless you have half a brain and can hit broad side of barn

He is not special.

I thought my opponents downfall was going to be starting Eddie Royal and Malcolm Floyd. Now i get to watch the rest of his team (Brees, Lynch, Leveon, Odell Beckham, Witten) carve me up. . Yay me!

Boy that's the truth. 3.5 yds per pass attempt and under 100 yds vs a team giving up 7 and 219 on the season.

He's awful and while there are worse teams in the league, I haven't seen one more gutless than San Fran. What an embarrassment they've become.

Like i have been saying... Vick 2.0. The difference being defenses know how to game plan for these one skill wonders now.

Well, other than Wilson.

Kaep just turned 27, has a cannon for a arm and talent to burn. I'll trust talent and ability over middle aged men struggling to get off the sofa any day. Keep playing arm chair QB fellas.

SF had a rough year, lost 9 starters on defense. Banged up O-line all year, SF will be just fine. Enjoy this year, it's obviously an outlier.

He has gone down hill since his coming out party. Teams have figured out how to stop him. Most non homers can see it. You keep him in the pocket he can't play QB. 49ers oline is no more banged up than most around the league

Wilson is prettyy bright and generally makes solid decisions on the field. He completes passes at a higher rate than Kaepernick, for a higher average per, and certainly doesn't have any better talent at WR than SF does. He also runs more effectively than Kaepernick.

You seem to favor running QBs (Kaep, Manziel) because of their playmaking ability. So far, they don't make that many plays.

SF put a lot of eggs in their basket the last couple years and it just didn't quite pay off. They're among the older teams in the league and that age is at some key positions. This is the point at which a franchise would expect their QB to be ready to step up and be the cornerstone. He doesn't look like that to me.

This is a very interesting comment. Firstly, qualifying that rather impressive run was probably not a good idea, seeing how the longest run by a QB in NFL history was by a guy who at 25 years old is out of the league.

I often thought the only way for Frisco to beat Seattle, and thereby advance in the NFC, was to unleash Kap in those games. You're right, that part of his game does need to be utilized. But his scrambling as a weapon needs to be controlled, and inserted into the game plan only at crucial times. I don't care how big you are, or how fast your wheels are. In the NFL, there's ALWAYS going to be someone bigger and faster, and chances are they are going to bring the rain when they hit you. These big running QB's like Newton and Kap, much less the smaller ones like RGIII and Wilson, are learning this the hard way. The key to their success is developing into a pocket passer. Newton is getting there, as is Wilson,

If Kap ever does, IF, he'll be in that same dangerous class. But right now he's killing his team.

Strong win to finish the season, Kaep using his legs, along with passing well against a tough D, extremely effectively was nice to see. Good young QB, young offensive and defensive line. Clearly the most attractive job for any top head coach out there. Immediate contenders next year with the amount of talent returning from injury.

I thought this game was last week

It was but, I felt the need to reply in this thread because a few people, who only read boxscores, felt the need to make sweeping judgements about SF.

SF will be just fine.
