Im worried about the new Jurassic park movie.

Im about as big a JP fan as there is. Iv been dying for a new one since 3 came out. Iv been overly hyped about Jurassic world but with every new clip im starting to get inklings of worry. I hope im just being paranoid here and im sure ill love the movie either way, but hear me out.

 

Heres the new clip for the movie. Its short so dont be lazy and just watch it, its not a full trailer. Take note after Chris Pratt runs from the dino. The two park officials the scene switches to are comedians. One of then is Jake Johnson, the bartender from new girl and lets be cops. The bug eyed girl next to him is also in comedic roles here and there. She plays in a few roles usually as the bug eyed girl. Its like seeing seth rogan and will ferrell in serious roles, it just breaks my immersion and I cant take them seriously. Minor gripe i know. Second, watch when the fat guard guy yells and squeaks through the door after fiddling with the control panel. His acting is TERRIBLE and the scream is embarrassing.

Does anyone else see what im seeing? Some of the lines I hear in the trailers are just poorly written. "You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea." How is it that in 22 years since JP came out the dino CGI is arguably still not as good? Something about the acting, cinematography and feel of it is a tad off. Like I said, maybe im being paranoid. But im starting to feel like this movie, while fun and entertaining, wont be very "good".

I feel that. The cgi is the least of my worries really. Its bad acting, dialogue and directing that are my top 3 worries.

The only series I can think of that got better as it went on is the fast and furious series. Those movies are getting better and better with each one and they are up to 7, with 8 on the way.

If you like action movies then yes, they are some of the very best made in recent memory. If you liked action youd prob have already seen them since they have been wildly popular the last 5 years or so. part 7 is already the 8th highest grossing movie all time or something. They are just fun, over the top action romps with cool cars and hot chicks with great stunts. If they look stupid to you then it may just not be your kind of movie, nothin wrong with that. The last 3 have been arguably the best in the series tho, since The Rock joined the cast.

Of course it's going to suck. Happens every time they try to remake a classic movie. And that is what they're doing at this point since the original Jurassic park was made 22 years ago

no granted 5 was good and 7 was about the best send off ending I have ever seen done to a actor that died while filming ... but trust they will suck after this last 1. Also 3 fnf 2 and 3 sucked ass 6 was s let down from 5. Maybe not as great an example.

Newman was awesome, but its unfair to compare a movie made by spielberg. Thats like faulting picasso for using cheap paint, its gonna turn out great regardless.
