Anyone trying to buy Bell? What's a fair price?

 

I'm thinking of offering Howard in a package with one of my WR's.

 

Opinions? Anybody else see this as a high risk, high reward move?

Better be a hell of a receiver. Bell was probably the guys first round pick, has been an anchor on his bench, and is about to give him a big boost in his lineup. Unless the guy is desperate for wins and can't wait another three weeks, there's very little reason to trade him for anything less than a package that offers the same league winning upside.

This is the biggest question in FF right now. As it stands, it is only a "rumor" that Bell comes back during the Steelers bye week. I have a lot of trust in Jeremy Fowler and his connections to the Steelers, but there have been tons of other rumors. We have no idea what kind of shape he's in (the going bet is "round"), how he will be welcomed back into the locker room, if the Steelers will make him inactive/roster exempt him if he's not ready to go, or anything. Both guys (Bell and Connor) have depressed values right now and are hard to ascertain. If I'm selling I want higher than I'm willing to pay for as a buyer.

You're probably a week too late to get a discount on Bell. Now that the latest rumor is him coming back after bye, people who have him on their team are going to be excited to get 1st round production from their 1st round pick. I don't think they're going to bail on Bell now. In the end, board group think doesn't really matter, the only person's thoughts that matter is the guy who you're hoping will trade you Bell. You're better off asking him what he wants for Bell than us what we think is fair.

I traded Bell pre-draft for a round 3 pick. I guess that would put him on a par with a high-end WR 2 or a low-end RB2?

 

I can't see anyone actively shopping for Bell right now. Plus I think the Steelers might integrate him a bit slower to get him up to game speed as Connor can get the job done if he has to. He probably won't get right back to 30 touches a game as soon as he's back. I see more like a 60/40 split with Connor unless one of them starts really producing more.

Very possible. He said when he reports he’s all in and will play hard for Steelers. But they still lose him to free agency so if they can get something for him why not.

Bell has been posting his exploits on insta and TMZ has interviewed him on the way to Da Club. Doubt he is tip top shape.
