Several members of Sarah Palin’s clan were involved in a drunken brawl at a snowmobile party Saturday, which was sponsored by the annual Iron Dog snowmobile race, Wonkette.com first reported Thursday. Anchorage Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Castro confirmed to the Daily News that Palin’s family got into the messy fight, but no arrests were made because no one pressed charges. Just before midnight, "Anchorage police responded to a report of a verbal and physical altercation taking place between multiple subjects," according to a statement released by police. "Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident."

I was home tonight and popped the tv on CNN to catch up on today's relevant news. They went on and on about this story. Interviewing some Alaskan 'blogger" who broke the story.

 

I watched for a good 4 or 5 minutes, but they kept on and on about the Palins. I then remembered why I dislike cable news. It's not news anymore, it's tabloids.

Palin. Kids are going hungry! Palin. Student loans? Palin. Gheys unhappy? Palin. Fuel prices? Palin. Droughts? Palin. Gun rights? Palin. Obama's and Congress's lowest approval ratings? Palin.

I was just on CNN. There were two stories saying essentially the same thing, one was a video, one a written piece. There were nine or ten pieces having to do with ISIS, and a couple with Russia or Putin.

I loved McCain in 2000, in 2008 I was totally fed up with the war in Iraq and disgusted with his foreign policy -it had always been a huge, huge anchor- but agreed with him over Obummer on most domestic issues. Further, I still liked the guy a lot from 2000 and wanted to believe the guy I supported in 2000 was maybe still inside there somewhere even though he'd spent a lot of effort kissing all the GOP moron asses while distancing himself from his previous beliefs. He had to beat a lot of circus freaks to win that nomination.

 

When he chose Palin, it was disheartening. It became clear that the freaks won and that he'd willingly sold himself out and the decision to vote Obummer became an easy one.
