ChinaCat 21 Posted October 14, 2017 I have them both and they both have the same bye week. Who do you drop? We can only have 2 QB's on the roster.
cavern 70 Posted October 14, 2017 you wait until the absolute last minute to make sure there are no injuries that dictate... and then you drop stafford. jmho
Brutal Brutus 182 Posted October 14, 2017 I'd lean Watson.Stafford looks like he's taken over as Captain check down. Now that he has defense to rely on, he's not taking the chances he has in the past and is putting up fewer stats as a result. Although, I agree that you shouldn't dump either yet, unless you need to. ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 14, 2017 I wasn't big on Stafford going into the season, even less so now. While Watson isn't going to keep up this crazy level of production, his ceiling is significantly higher and his running should give him a better floor as well. weepaws 2,460 Posted October 14, 2017 Truly a interesting situation. If I was going to drop one of them mmmm. Wow tough choice. I would go with Stafford also. Wow tough one good luck.
yankmccobb 0 Posted October 14, 2017 Who to start this week out of these 2? Watson vs terrible Browns D or Stafford vs Saints in potential shootout?

jimaveli 119 Posted October 14, 2017 What Cavern said. Wait as long as you can, drop Stafford, carry on.
ChinaCat 21 Posted October 14, 2017 I'm starting Stafford this week vs the Saints over Watson (so far) but I screwed up and dropped Dalton and picked up Watson after week 1 not looking at the bye weeks. Not a screw up but an oversight. And now I got a dilemma.

It's hard to drop or not start a QB playing the Saints. I don't have to make the drop yet but it's like a coin toss for next week. Watson can't keep this up. And with his running will come injuries. Or I could keep both and take a loss (maybe) and not start a QB but that isn't fair for the rest of the league,
Phil Simms 11 127 Posted October 14, 2017 Trade one of them
Tuxedosam 4 Posted October 15, 2017 One league I have Stafford and Watson and another Cousins and Stafford. Stafford can be fustrating and even with good or bad match ups you never know with him. I'm playing it safe and rolling Watson and Cousins this week. Opinions?
ChinaCat 21 Posted October 15, 2017 Trade one of them They know I have to drop one so I'm screwed. And Stafford doesn't seem to be a hot commodity. If I trade it has to be Watson and I don't think a team will give up a big talent for a guy who's played 4 games.
weepaws 2,460 Posted October 15, 2017 Wow very good question. Stafford is playing but if he takes a good shot mm. Watson isn't playing a good def either I'm going to take Watson. I like seeing him score all those tds the last two weeks, even when it's been late in some cases.

Watson can't keep this up. And with his running will come injuries. Or I could keep both and take a loss (maybe) and not start a QB but that isn't fair for the rest of the league, Stafford ended up having a decent game, but it took some weirdness like some bad calls and the Saints shutting down in what looked like a blowout. I've got the same Watson/Stafford problem in a 14 team short bench league. I won't cut him but I hadn't noticed the bye problem.
SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted October 16, 2017 Actually now that I think of it I will try to trade him to the Rodgers owner.
