bjsteel 34 Posted December 26, 2014 My only suggestion would be to NOT bet on these CFB Vegas Bowl Games, it's a crapshoot finding which ones are not influenced by Vegas. Â Take the San Diego State vs Navy game; SDST favored by 3, up 16-14 in the 4th Q, facing 4th and 5 at the Navy 12yd line, and opt to go for it instead of kicking a FG to go up 5, and they don't convert!!! They end up losing 17-16...Might be the most obvious point shaving in history! LOL Â Then that Western Kentucky debacle has to be 2nd on that list, giving up 34 unanswered points in the 4th Q alone, including a 75yd play with one sec on the clock...yeah, right! I gave up after this one. Â Might want to get a bunch of people together and join officefootballpool.com, charge a one-time fee of, say, $50 or $100, then bet on these games using "shares" from the website. Can still win lots of money (depending on how many people are in the pool), still feel like you are gambling, but at least if/when you lose, at the end of the day, you are only losing the entrance fee, and not giving the bookies all your money...that just my $.02. I just signed up for a fantasy playoff league that looks pretty sweet. They have drafts starting Monday. I am signed up for a 100 dollar league and the draft is on Friday. check it out.
