Elon says that Trump is in the Epstein files.

GC righties might like this amazing interview by Pablo Torre of former NBA player and Dem congressman Tom McMillen. I guess he thinks Torre is just going to ask him about basketball but then gets big mad about Epstein questions. He has a clear memory of recruiting pitches from when he was in high school, but suddenly forgets everything about his friendship with Epstein. -

Step 1. It’s not happening. Step 3. It’s happening and it’s a good thing -
Maybe I missed it but where does it say that? It mostly just seems to be talking about how they think it’s not correct to say they definitely don’t.

Well to be fair this was an internal memo that got leaked, it wasn’t meant to be released yet. Seems they looked into the specifics of 96 VAERS death reports and concluded that they thought at least 10 of them were caused by the vaccine

I agree the risk/reward ratio for the vax for kids was not nearly as clear as for adults and of course the elderly (which I said all along), but “at all” is a strong phrase. If they were obese or had other risk factors there was risk of Covid to kids. Here is Prasad’s letter: I like Prasad, but he is conflating a few different arguments here. He asks if the vaccines “killed more healthy children than they saved,” but he doesn’t say how many of the 10 were actually healthy (I’m obviously not discounting their deaths but as I said above, if they weren’t healthy than they had a higher risk from Covid than healthy kids). He then starts talking about mandates, but to my knowledge (correct me if I’m wrong), really the only kids that would have been mandated to get the vax would have been 17 year olds entering college. One tidbit in the letter I found interesting is that they said they analyzed 96 VAERS cases but only found 10 they could determine to have been caused by the vax (but said maybe it is an undercount). Which is interesting considering most of the idiots citing VAERS deaths think you should multiply by some insane number and concluded the vaccines have killed like 2 million people or whatever.

I believe the “case was closed in 2017” is referring to the denial of the family’s asylum claim -

And I didn’t say she “can’t” be deported. The government may not have done anything wrong if she had a valid order of removal. Although the lawyer does claim they did other things wrong like “impeding” him from speaking with her or allegedly not showing her the deportation order when she was detained. -

I’m saying the common refrain when discussing privilege in other threads is something to the effect of that people need to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps” or whatever. But in cases like this, they have no opportunity to do that, the privilege is based solely on where they happened to be born. And again, I get deporting people that intentionally entered illegally. And I get deporting minor children if their parents are also illegal. But deporting an adult who’s been here for over a decade and was brought here by her parents at 7 years old seems a bit much. Assuming she has no criminal record of course, I know that is not confirmed. -

I assume he’s referring to this, which we admitted was a mistake then helped relocate the surviving victims to the US: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_2021_Kabul_drone_strike -

Article in local paper. Detained on a Thursday, was already deported by the time her lawyer could reach her on Monday, the lawyer claims ICE “impeded his attempts to communicate with her” until after she was already deported. https://www.statesman.com/news/local/article/ice-deports-austin-student-honduras-21212682.php -
