    Keeper ?

Who would you keep Spiller, Gio or Jeffery? I'm already keeping Megatron.
  3. I have Andre Brown in as my flex now but against a solid Seahawks D, I'm thinking of possibly going with Spiller? I also have Trent, and Jordy Non-PPR

    Playoff Woes

This is gonna get long winded. But I'll try and make it easy to follow. I'm preparing for a run to make the playoffs. I'm currently top of the league, but we have 4 divisions. Unfortunately, we don't play best record... we play 4 divisions with winners going to the playoffs... I happen to be in the only division where less than 2 games separate the leader, i.e. I'm only ONE game up, and I PLAY THAT GUY THIS WEEK. He has Peterson, Graham, etc... so it could be ugly... anyways... I already scooped up NE and DEN D/ST's as their week 13-16 matchups are incredible (couldn't get the Bills :-/), and sadly enough, dropped Cecil Shorts to handcuff Thomas with Tamme. They're saying he comes back this week, but I saw the way his knee bent... and I'm not risking it, regardless. 1. Foles or Luck - I say Foles. 2. Pick 2 - Moreno, Vereen, Spiller, Bernard. - I'm leaning towards Moreno (if he can go) / Vereen... although he can't be trusted, don't overlook Spiller having a juicy matchup. 3. Pick 3 - Demaryius Thomas, Torrey Smith, Michael Floyd, Michael Crabtree - I'm leaning towards sitting Crab his first week back. I already scooped up NE and DEN D/ST's as their week 13-16 matchups are incredible (couldn't get the Bills :-/) If you could answer in the format above (1., 2., 3.) I'd appreciate it for easier tallying. Any insight in your decision is more than welcome as well, and encouraged... don't forget I'll answer EVERY SINGLE LINK! So if you're in a conundrum yourself, drop your link for sure! Thanks, -J

    Trade advice please

In a non ppr league I get Trent Richardson & Reggie Wayne for C.J. Spiller & DeSean Jackson. Would you pull the trigger or stay put? My WR/RB's currently are RB- Spiller, Forte, David Wilson, Lamar Miller WR- Julio Jones, D. Thomas, D. Jackson, A. Boldin
  7. I feel like I really need to get Joique Bell @ Washington in my lineup but we start 2 RB and no flex. I'm tempted to sit Spiller because he's had a slow start and Fred Jackson is getting more touches than I like. Chris Johnson vs SD is the 3rd choice here muddying my waters. Please pick one guy to SIT! Leave a link to yours.
  8. Okay, so I did pretty well during week one thanks to Kaepernick's big night. I'm now being offered a trade however, and I'm unsure whether it's a good deal. Here is my current team: LINEUP Colin Kaepernick - QB, SF Chris Givens - WR, StL Cecil Shorts - WR, Jax Jamaal Charles - RB, KC CJ Spiller - RB, Buf Jared Cook - TE, StL DeMarco Murray - RB, Dal Daryl Richardson - RB, StL DEFENSE Arizona Cardinals KICKER Josh Brown - K, NYG BENCH Josh Gordon - WR, Cle Montee Ball - RB, Den Philip RIvers - QB, SD Giovani Bernard - RB, Cin Shane Vereen- TE, NE They are offering Tony Gonzalez and Ryan Mathews for CJ Spiller. SPiller didn't have a phenomenal game (41 rushing yds, 14 passing yds)...but I'm wary to trade him because he's highly rated this season. On the other hand, I only have 2 TEs...So I need some help! Thoughts on this?
  9. Setting up for the draft, and are among those RB's am considering at this position non ppr, .1pass/rush combined 6 pt td Overall expectation Ranking them Spiller/Charles and then Lynch ... Morris. Issue here, of these teams offenses, which players will be more consistent and less affected by opposing scoring. aka how often will game plan be affected by playing catchup? Who will abandon the running game too quickly or more expectantly? Which is safer because of their role in the short yardage passing game? Short or long series expectations, etc Interesting projections for each teams kickers, from FFToday currently, is about the same for FG 25-30 attempts. Washington and Seatle expected 45-50 tds KC and Buffalo expected 30. Thus from a conservative pov Consistent Start Ranking Lynch, Charles, Spiller, Morris. All of this pov more affected by the team and less the player Outside of health X factors, is Lynches court date and related impacts with that. Your thoughts on how to separate these running games?
  10. 10-team league, PPR. Our WRs score 1pt/20yds; TE score 1pt/10yds. I am keeping Spiller and our draft does not snake, so I pick 9 in every round. I think in round 1 I'll have a chance at a Graham, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, or AJ Green. With our scoring system favoring TEs, would you grab Graham at 9 or go with one of the WRs? I'm torn. Draft is tonight.

    Keeper Konundrum

What's up FFballers, I am part of a 14 team/ppr/keeper league. We're allowed to keep 2 players, 1 from rounds 1-3 and another from round 4 on. My options this year are Mccoy 1st round, Stafford rnd 6 and Spiller rnd 7. I am leaning on keeping Spiller and Stafford based on value and projections and that I will have picks 14 & 15 if I drop Mccoy and I can do a little damage there. I'll list pros and cons for each potential keeper so you can see my mindset on these guys. Stafford Pros: 1. Lions throw a ton, led the league in pass attempts the last 2 years, no reason to believe this changes 2. Throws to one of the most dominant WRs in the league 3. Good value for a round 6 pick. 4. Reggie Bush comes to town for another viable passing option that Stafford hasn't had since Jahvid Best. Cons: 1. O-line and the hits he's been taking, not much else for cons. Spiller Pros: 1. 6.0 ypc last year 2. Good passing option for whoever ends up QB 3. Big play ability Cons: 1. durability, not sure if this is really an issue 2. Fred Jax, he may be old but I believe he can still make a case for playing time so ther is a possibility of RBBC (running back by committee) 3. Marrone says goal line back role not yet established, Jax could take TD's away Mccoy Pros: 1. True baller, versatile, quick, shady 2. Maclin out, should increase his touches 3. Can score TDs in the red zone, unfortunately, Andy Reid liked to use other options last year. Thankfully he's gone 4. Don't see a RBBC situation here so he's a single lead back which seems to be a rarity nowadays. Cons: 1. Not a great value for a rnd 1 pick 2. Suffered first bad concussion we know about and given his postion, he could become damaged goods 3. Not sure Chip Kelly's offense translates to success in the NFL (could say the same for Marrone/Spiller I guess) 4. QB situation - Vick and Shady have some chemistry, teams less likely to stack the box with Vick in but most certainly would against Foles which I believe would negatively affect Mccoy's stats.
  12. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9547031/cj-spiller-buffalo-bills-get-ball-throws-nathaniel-Hackett "It's real simple: We're going to give him the ball until he throws up," Hackett told The Howard Simon Show on WGR 550 in Buffalo. "So he's either got to tap out or throw up on the field. Let's just put it that way."
