A quick CDC google search of pre-measles vaccine data show that in the decade before the Vaccinations, 1950’s, that 500 deaths were reported per year and thousands more hospitalized.

Ah, healthimpactnews. Conveniently leaving out the detail that adverse effects reported through VAERS are not confirmed to be related to the vaccine in question.

Reports of all possible associations between vaccines and adverse events (possible side effects) are filed in VAERS. Therefore, VAERS collects data on any adverse event following vaccination, be it coincidental or truly caused by a vaccine. That and the fact that they claim zero measles deaths in that time period, despite the CDC recording deaths in 2009 and 2010.

Of course vaccines sometimes kill people. So does lettuce. It's a quality control issue, not a "vaccines in general are bad" issue.
