KSB2424 3,148 Posted April 3, 2007 First the good news: Congrats on a remarkable season and back to back NC wins. Now the bad news: Noah, Horford, Brewer, and Billy will not be in Gainsville next year. Good Luck!

Fumbleweed 547 Posted April 3, 2007 Congrats to all Gator fans. That is an incredible accomplishment for an athletic program.
Jeremy 0 Posted April 3, 2007 Pffftt! Big deal. Like it's real hard to recruit kids to go to Florida. "Look son. You wanna freeze your butt off at some Big 10 school or do you wanna sit in the warm sun looking at beautiful women on the beach year round?" Tough choice there. congrats to gator fans
GobbleDog 997 Posted April 3, 2007 Holy crap, I still can't believe it. Back to back Champions! After all these years of disapointment. Me and my fellow Gator friends partied til about 4:00 am last night. I'm still a little dazed from drinking too many tequilla shots...
Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 3, 2007 The only thing better than back to back to back... Is back to back to back to back, when Timmy Tebow leads us to another NC this coming year. I can't believe I just witnessed history... and it was our Gators making that history.
edjr 6,606 Posted April 3, 2007 At least it's florida and not some cheating school like FSU or USC Congrats Florida
GobbleDog 997 Posted April 3, 2007 Gotta hand to Noah. After winning the Championship last year, he had to know the odds of winning it again were pretty slim. Even for the greatest teams, it's just so difficult to repeat. But he decided to come back anway. Heck, just getting to the Final Four again would have been a huge accomplishment IMO, but to actually win another Championship!?!?! Unbelievable! How bout them Gators! I get sick and tired of hearing how admirable it was that Noah came back this year instead of going to the NBA. His dad was a professional tennis player and his family is well off. Most of the players that go pro early do it because mama and grandma are living in the ghetto. It is easy to be so "noble" when you have money already. GobbleDog 997 Posted April 3, 2007 It's a super longshot for the football team next year, but oh what a ride already! Yep. I think fan expectations for Tim Tebow may have gotten a little out of hand and he could disapoint some next year. His throwing abilities have never really been tested and we've got a pretty tough schedule which includes LSU and Auburn, as well as all the regular SEC East teams and FSU. But, you never know. I certainly didn't expect to win it last year with that insane schedule. Ya know if we don't win another football or basketball championship for another 10 years, you won't hear me gripe. The gods have been very good to us lately.
