Trump says he wants to see peace get done; let’s see if he means it. Russia has to pull its forces back behind the Crimea. Ukraine agrees to cede the Crimea to Russia. There can be a vote for the folks in the Donbas whether they want to be part of Ukraine or Russia. The USA commits, along with Europe and Russia to rebuilding Ukraine. Ukraine holds elections. We sign the rare earth minerals deal (our presence there will be a form of security; Trump is right about that.) Finally , in exchange for no more countries joining NATO, Russia signs a treaty agreeing to respect the sovereignty of all existing nations in Europe, and a new trade deal with Europe and the USA with no tariffs. Thats my peace idea. I think it’s doable. Certainly it should be a lot easier to do this deal than any Palestinian-Israeli agreement.

If you don’t understand that the leader to be tough against is Putin, and think that being tough on Zelenskyy is good in any way, you are a gullible rube who understands nothing about the world. Calling Zelensky an ungrateful or spoiled child is an amazing distortion. We’re talking about a guy whose country has been brutally invaded, who is facing an enemy who bombs hospitals and schools and slaughters thousands of innocent people. There is no difference, in terms of good and evil, between Putin and Hamas. I wish some of you could show the moral clarity in this situation that you do with Israel. I’ve yet to hear any of you call Netanyahu a spoiled ungrateful child and we have given him far more aid than Zelensky.
