The trannies I know say these types blow up their in boxes on social media, mostly married, middle-aged white guys who want to get with them. They also say they oppose gender-affirming care for anyone under 21 or at least 18. But they said they identified with the sex other than the one they were born with at a very young age, even like 5 or 6. They also say they just want to quietly live their lives and don't care much for the trannies who are out there shoving their agenda in people's faces, although the activist types make up only a small percentage of the LGBTQ community. Those who make the most trans noise are pretty much the same type as the so-called trans-hating knuckleheads in here. They should point their passions in more productive directions. Trans people are no threat to them.

Yes the name is definitely Robinson’s roommate. Yet despite the multiple pictures, none of him identifying as a female. Speaking of his name, if it was “100% confirmed” the roommate was trans, I’d think we’d have more reporting on what the female name was. I see one claim that he changed his gaming username on Steam, but that’s it. -
Good to know anonymous sources are convincing to you now, noted. There’s literally already been fake trans news spread about this murder, wouldn’t be shocked to see it happened again. Wouldn’t be shocked if it were true either, but it’s not convincing yet.

FWIW, my reasoning was for how I refer to people in discussions like this, not to their face. To their face, I'm pretty much what you describe. I'll respect the gender they choose if I know about it, or go by presentation otherwise. I've told the story before, but my daughter was in HS Theater, and a lot of those kids are from the island of misfit toys. One was a boy named Jordan who decided he was a girl named Dani (interesting that he picked a male-sounding name). Dani didn't terribly present as a girl, so you would call him a him if you saw him. But out of respect for him and my daughter, I referred to him as she/her. I call him a him now because he later decided he was a boy after all. See, Jordan came from a shiot home life, and the trans thing was a cry for attention. Many of the leftists here tell me this is unpossible, that experiences and situations can't make someone trans. My life experience begs to differ. It's a big part of why I am so adamant against confused kids getting medical/hormonal treatments. -

A few reasons, none of which you'll agree with. 1. I believe a small subset of trans people have gender dysphoria. Brianna pre-dates the social contagion, when trans people who medically transitioned were thoroughly vetted to have the disease. 2. She also medically and surgically transitioned, so she presents as a she. We can argue whether or not people should do this, or if we should instead work on addressing the mental illness (I've made this latter argument multiple times). But, she did it. 3. As my quote indicated, she's just trying to live out life, not inject herself into women's sports etc. Given all of the above, I'm comfortable calling Brianna she/her. I don't believe she is some sexual predator guy looking to rape girls in the bathroom; she doesn't even have a cack anymore. Someone like Leah Thomas meets none of the criteria I listed, so I'm fine referring to Leah as he/him. HTH -
Political violence will never go away until we hit a breaking point. No, I don't know what that breaking point will be and what the outcome will bring, but it's probably going to happen. Why? Because liberals view EVERY conservative ideology as "Hate". It started with Obama where any time a Republican disagreed with him, it was because that person was racist. Had nothing to do with the subject, just that, the Obama agenda was 100% correct and there was no "other side", so because that is the case, to disagree with him was purely because that person was racist. That position won them the election 2008 and re-election in 2012, so that mindset is here to stay. We know it's here because it didn't work out in 2016 (because no one actually liked Hillary), but it did in 2020. It didn't work in 2024 (because no one actually liked Harris). We all know that this approach works because Trump would never have won in 2016 or 2024 had the Democrats put forward someone who wasn't worse than Trump. So, the Democrat battle plan to always claim Republican agenda's as "Hate", is here to stay. I mean, it's still going on today, is it not? People say "It's both sides that are guilty". To an extent, this is true. But a more accurate portrayal is "Actionary : Re-Actionary". Democrats did it, it worked... Republicans had to respond in kind, because that's the message the country was buying. So, because the Democrat platform of "Hate" is here to stay, so is Political Violence. The reason that is here to stay is because the entire foundation of the Democrat party, is solely based on targeting "Victimhood". The only way for the Democrat elites to stay in power, is to make sure there are always victims. It's why I say they're the worst political organization to ever exist on this planet. They are worst scumbags, ever. They create victims be conjuring up some kind of problem, that isn't one, say those people are victims, and then blame Republicans. The trans movement and illegal immigrants are the two most current. Simply, your party is the problem. You will say it's both, again, there's truth in that, but as I said "Actionary : Re-Actionary" is a better descripter. If Democrats stop saying that every conservative talking point is "Hate", then division and (as a result), "Political Violence", is here to stay. What you said: "Nor am I going to engage in whataboutisms though I could..." What you meant: "I am a hypocrite and don't like being called out on it, so I'm going to ignore your statements". It's here to stay because as your "Second" point states, you don't realize you are, in fact, the problem. What's the over/under number on days when someone on the left says that Trump is "literally Hitler"?

I thought you said Biles only apologized for her personal attacks on Gaines, and not her stance on trans athletes. Gaines here, is talking about Biles' stance on trans athletes (to wit, Biles did NOT apologize for). -

Good discussion on mental health. I've historically said that other than defense of something, any proactive murder falls somewhere on the mental health spectrum. You brain isn't working correctly if it does that. It's basically my same argument of why transgenderism is a mental health issue. With trans, the question then is what do we do about it? Treat, council, medically change? But with murder, we've recognized that that is a particular behavior that we can't live with (pardon the pun) in society. Rightfully so. Same with pedophilia. So to me, the discussion of whether or not it is a mental health issue is not as important if we recognize that all mental health issues are not the same, nor do they have the same impact on society. Also, I'm not talking about serial killers or similar people that we would clearly call crazy.
