Parents call out unfairness as trans pitcher throws shutout in Minnesota softball state quarterfinals
TimHauck replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
A straw man argument is a logical fallacy where someone misrepresents an opponent's argument to make it easier to attack or refute. Instead of addressing the actual argument, the person creates a distorted version and argues against that instead. You think she’s just “critical” of trans, lol. She thinks they shouldn’t exist. -

Parents call out unfairness as trans pitcher throws shutout in Minnesota softball state quarterfinals

That has nothing to do with what I just said, but yes I do think she’s a bigot, not because “she doesn’t say things the way I think she should,” because her words have shown she doesn’t like trans folks in general, not just the trans folks that play in womens sports. And honestly, as I think about it more, no I truly don’t think her negative comments about trans folks in situations that have nothing to do with sports actually help her argument. Because if her ultimate goal is for all states to pass legislation to ban biological males in women’s sports, the people she should be targeting with her messaging are the Dem politicians (as most regular folk already agree with her). And to do that, she should focus on facts and data, not just inflammatory rage bait. As I said earlier, most of what she’s doing now is just riling up the people that already agree with her. It has helped her get rich though, which I think was her bigger objective. -

🌈🏳️🌈🌈The Squissy Transvestite Debate Thread 🌈🏳️🌈🌈
HellToupee replied to HellToupee's topic in The Geek Club
Squissy taking another L No, drag queens are not necessarily transvestites. While both involve dressing in clothing typically associated with another gender, drag is a performance art, and a drag queen is someone who performs in that style. A transvestite, on the other hand, is someone who cross-dresses for personal reasons, not primarily for performance. Many drag queens are cisgender men who do not identify as transgender, according to Advocates for Trans Equality. -
Trans Tesla vandal — who allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at cars — lives with HIS mom and calls herself ‘baby’ 🌈
Maximum Overkill posted a topic in The Geek Club
A 42-year-old transgender woman who allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at vehicles and spray-painted “Nazi cars” at a Colorado Tesla dealership lives with her mother due to “emotional problems” and calls herself “baby” online. Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, is accused of hurling incendiary devices at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Northern Colorado, and vandalizing the business and vehicles on multiple occasions with graffiti “offensive and hateful in nature,” police said. In one incident, the suspect allegedly took aim at Tesla CEO Elon Musk — who has previously been accused of antisemitism — scrawling “f—k Musk” with red paint on the front windows of the establishment and in another, sprayed “Nazi” on a company sign. @Tebok @Ron_Artest -
Girls' track and field athletes don't stand on podium next to trans athlete at Oregon state championship
jerryskids replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
It seems odd to me that a person like yourself, from the party of protecting the minority and oppressed, would use the "but it's rare" argument. As I said earlier though, regarding sports, by definition more straight/regular girls are affected by sports competition than the trans person themself, since that trans person affects the multiple people in their event, over various scopes already discussed here. So I'm glad we can agree that trans women shouldn't be in women's sports. I don't actually feel strongly about the bathroom debate, and I'm not sure what the right answer is. I was merely pointing out that taking a dump in a stall is not the concern of the opponents. I'll also add that IMO the concern isn't as much from true gender dysphoria trans people, but rather from bad men who might take advantage of such policy. -

You’re proving my point. Gaines isn’t just arguing for fairness in sports. She’s arguing that trans people shouldn’t exist. @TBayXXXVII earlier claimed that “Gaines has never once said that trans folks should be ignored, she only says they don’t belong in sports.” Here are couple posts of hers not related to sports at all, or even children, yet mocking trans people as a whole: https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1861564050024329515 https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1808256336922108415 @TBayXXXVII, let me know when you’re ready to admit you were wrong. -
Kilmar Abrego Garcia & Trump El Salvador deportations thread.
Ron_Artest replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
I never said she was lying, I speculated maybe she is. I did say that they hooked up before and it was true. The arranged to hook up in the bathroom prior to the rape. You were saying that the rapist dressed up like a girl so he would be allowed into the bathroom as part of the trans policy which was completely wrong. He raped her. It was a terrible thing that happened to her. No woman, especially a child should EVER have to endure that trauma. And here you are, wishing it would happen to my children. I can't think of anything worse to say to another father. You're shameless. -
SCOTUS rules on state ban on gender transition 'treatments' for minors in landmark case

Sorry to distract from your conversation @jerryskids. Here’s some analysis suggesting the “trans isn’t a protected class” stuff may not be as broad as some think: https://www.nysun.com/article/supreme-courts-decision-to-uphold-state-ban-on-medical-gender-transitions-for-minors-is-a-devastating-loss-for-transgender-people-aclu-says?member_gift=CUZ5qwd3crq4pmz-xrd Way too many words in this article but I think these were the most relevant: The court’s decision, however monumental, will not necessarily have sweeping implications for transgender-related litigation more broadly, according to a law professor at Duke University, Doriane Lambelet Coleman, the author of “On Sex And Gender: a Commonsense Approach.” She said that the court has left as an open question whether transgender people should be recognized as a protected class, for whom a higher level of legal scrutiny under the 14th Amendment is warranted. … Addressing the question of Bostock’s application outside of employment contexts, the majority found that the law “does not alter the court’s analysis.” To assess for discrimination barred by the statute, that 2020 decision applied a test in which changing the person’s sex would change the outcome of the dispute. But in the case of the Tennessee ban, the court found that this test did not, in fact, change the outcome; children would still be banned from receiving drugs for the purpose of transitioning their gender if they were the opposite sex. However, the court issued a notably restrained ruling in this context, declining to address whether Bostock’s reasoning “reaches behind the Title VII context.” This should limit the reach of this decision. “Lawyers working to secure trans rights can continue to use Bostock based reasoning where the language of the law allows it,” Ms. Coleman said. -
Its hard to read, but I guess its a screenshot of a tranny group talking about simulating the symptoms of menstruation. They include...Shoving tampons up your a$$ to prevent flatulence to make you bloated, wearing sanpaper in your bra to make breasts tender, self mutilation to genitals to make you bleed, laxative for cramps, and sleep reduction for irritability. Wtf? How are we normalizing this? Its scary and sad. These are just the people I wanna have my kids share bathrooms with.

Liberals love this. But TRUMP!!! https://www.foxnews.com/sports/women-athletes-dont-compete-vs-transgender-team-usa-track-event-giving-default-victory-trans-athlete The trans athlete then competed against multiple teenage opponents in another event, taking first place from a 14-year-old Transgender track and field athlete Sadie Schreiner took first place at the USA Track and Field (USATF) Open Masters Championships in the women's 400-meter dash in New York Saturday The other participants in the event, Anna Vidolova and Amaris Hiatt, have no recorded times and are listed as DNS, did not start. Schreiner is 21 years old, while Vidolova is just 17, and Hiatt is 16. After the 400-meter race, Schreiner competed in the women's 200-meter dash and also won first place. Schreiner defeated 14-year-old runner-up Zwange Edwards, 16-year-old third-place finisher Zariah Hargrove, 15-year-old Leah Walker and 18-year-old Ainsley Rausch. That event also had multiple participants listed as DNS, including 18-year-old Jordan Carr, 46-year-old Amanda Taylor, Vidolova again and 16-year-old Paula Damiens. USATF policy allows trans athletes to compete in the women's category in compliance with Internatonal Olympic Committee (IOC) policy. However, USATF "requires that certain medical benchmarks be achieved before an athlete may compete as the opposite gender for medals, prize money and other benefits." Fox News Digital has reached out to USATF for comment. Schreiner previously competed for Rochester Institute of Technology's (RIT) women's track and field team and gained national notoriety for dominating female opponents and frequent social media videos boasting about it as an openly transgender competitor. However, Schreiner was ruled ineligible to compete for RIT after the NCAA revised its gender eligibility policy Feb. 6, one day after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to ban trans athletes from women's and girls sports.

SCOTUS rules on state ban on gender transition 'treatments' for minors in landmark case
TimHauck replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Yes, my comments stayed consistent. I was talking about how I was not a fan of Riley Gaines in part because her schtick is NOT just against men in women’s sports, it is against trans folks in general. Her comment about this supreme court case is yet another example of that. @TBayXXXVII tried saying “Gaines only said that trans don’t belong in women’s sports” (direct quote) which obviously is incorrect. In fact, he, not me was the one that kept changing definitions. For example when I called out Gaines for comparing sexual abuse to competing against a boy in high school softball, he started saying things like “she never said sexual abuse happens on the field of play.” -

Ill just be honest here and im probably being too nice. I think most here are law abiding working people. (What you people do for work to allow you to slap fight all day and repeat the same things is actually astonishing). I dont think people here are looking for free stuff. I was just curious what Lib voters actually really back with the left. I totally know squis and tim are all about virtue signaling and lgbtq stuff. Squis may be trans which is fine. If he came out and said it Id get it more. I was just wondering but I doubt ill get much back here because there is little to nothing. I truly do think these fake centrists are working decent people. I was just wondering what they would get really behind. I wasnt looking for ridicule. I honestly am wondering what is backed other than having some sort of TDS.

Why does it matter what she was quoting? She called trans a gimmick, not sure why you need context for that. I mean I think we’re basically agreeing here. My point is she is against trans folks in general, not just in sports - you’re basically just saying she “should” do that to help her point about sports. But no, I don’t like Riley Gaines despite agreeing with her premise that men shouldn’t play women’s sports. Sorry if that triggers you. -
Trans people are more depressed, suicidal after sex change surgeries: study 🌈
Maximum Overkill posted a topic in The Geek Club
@Fnord How are handling the transition Buddy? Radical trans activists say that sex change surgeries save lives. A groundbreaking new study destroys that narrative. Transgender people who suffer from depression and hope that surgery might be a possible cure may be worsening their mental health by seeking a sex change operation. A new study published in Oxford’s Journal of Sexual Medicine has found that gender-affirming surgery significantly increases the risk of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorders among individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria -

Coming from the guy that just called Tony Seruga a “great American,” I’m gonna guess that Catturd is going off nothing more than a photo with long hair. That’s what happened with Colt Gray in GA, and @Horseman even claimed to have discord screenshots backing up that he was a tranny. Of course he didn’t since they don’t exist, and it turned out Gray was actually ANTI-trans
