    Honest question. Is squis trans?
  3. When you say "abandon the trans movement," do you mean men in women's sports, or trans folks altogether? I ask because progressives often push the false dichotomy of all or nothing. Sometimes successfully: you may recall the debate about gay marriage. Many conservatives were fine with it, but preferred to call it "civil union." Progressives insisted on calling it "marriage", and they ultimately won. To them, it isn't a victory unless it is 100%. Problem is, I don't see how they will ever get public mindshare of a lot of these trans topics: medically transing confused kids, men in women's sports, convicted male rapists in female prisons (yes, this is a real thing)... I mean sure, we may get a progressive SCOTUS majority some day which prioritizes woke ideology over biological reality and people's safety, but I can't see how the public at large will ever buy into it. Basically, I propose that we break the false dichotomy. I believe that we can support adults who want to present as the other sex in general, without allowing them into women's spaces. There are plenty of devils in the details, but I don't want to sidetrack this thread too much.

80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals- Just added- LA Riots

I view trans as something I don't really care about as long as the person deciding to be trans is not impacting anyone else. If my neighbor is a cross dresser and likes to put on womens clothes and go out on friday night, cool. Good for him. If my neighbor decides he is trans and wans to get breast implants, cut off his junk, start taking hormones, etc... I really don't care. I could pretty much say the same thing about any hobby someone has.... Is trans a mental illness? ... are people who like to have sex with people dressed as furry animals mentally ill? Or is it just a weird fetish? I don't know and I really don't care. the problem with trans is that a group of people (mainly liberals) have decided to make it everyone elses problem. They always need a new group to be marginalized and scream for ________ rights, and trans became one of them. I dont hear anyone yelling about cross dressers rights or furries rights. And it obviously goes hand in hand with men in womens sports. So when you have Brendan deciding he is now Brenda and deserves to play on the female collegiate golf team, now you're bothering other people and pushing your agenda onto others. Now we have to bring science and biology into the equation when it could have just been Brandan's personal hobby to be a woman. So yeah, it's about the trans adults as well.... since those are the ones trying to play sports or the ones going around baiting restaurant employees into calling them the wrong pronoun while filming their fake outrage, etc.

    ***The Official Car Draft***

Sorry boys. Im on CA time 1.01 1976 Pontiac Trans Am LE https://www.autoweek.com/car-life/a1707736/meet-original-bandit-trans-am/ I always wanted one of these. And seeing @BeenHereBefore mention it already, I'm taking it now.
  6. And he didn't confirm that Wess Roley was trans in the tweet, contrary to what was said earlier in the thread. His actual words posted with the photos are "Uh - I’m noticing something here" (which I guess must suggest that to the transphobes but that is still not a confirmation).
  7. Coming from the guy that just called Tony Seruga a “great American,” I’m gonna guess that Catturd is going off nothing more than a photo with long hair. That’s what happened with Colt Gray in GA, and @Horseman even claimed to have discord screenshots backing up that he was a tranny. Of course he didn’t since they don’t exist, and it turned out Gray was actually ANTI-trans

Why are liberal Democrats hurting so badly these days?

Personally I’m doing great. The best thing about progressivism is that it always wins in the end. Thats the history of human civilization. All progressive ideas eventually win out. For every two steps backwards, we soon take 4 steps forward. For many of you reading this, your parents railed against gay marriage (or maybe you did.) Some of your grandparents argued against racial equality, and your great-grandparents were against immigrants from Ireland, Italy and China. As I write this I am very confident that your grandchildren, in turn, will be accepting of transgender changes among teenagers and treating all trans people with respect; they will not view it as a mental illness. Further your grandkids will be much more tolerant of undocumented immigrants and globalism in general. We move ever forward.
  9. Keep up the good work Maine. Let the high school girls who want to compete in sports suffer. They deserve it, right? The executive director of the primary governing body for high school sports in the state of Maine said athletic teams will continue to determine eligibility based on a student's stated gender identity, despite the president's executive order seeking to keep "men out of women's sports." Mike Burnham, executive director of the Maine Principals Association (MPA), said the president's order conflicts with state law aimed at protecting human rights and, as a result, the MPA will defer to the latter when it comes to determining athletic eligibility.
  10. Without a doubt this has been one of the biggest quandary's for the Dem party. Every logical person knows that men should not compete against women in physical sporting events. Majority of Dem voters also believe that. Dems are supposed to be for "women's rights" Yet for some reason they won`t take a stand on this. Makes no sense at all. Being trans has nothing to do with being gay. The gay just like their own sex whatever it is. Trans think they are sex they are not. No woman who thinks she is a man as yet to compete and dominate a male sport. That will never happen. Yet males can easily dominate bio women's sports. How is that fair to women?

    Hey Weepaws!

Long awaited study finds puberty blockers have little impact on mental health of trans identified youth. Mental health is a problem with someone that is a trans identified person, that’s why they want to do that.

    NYC Mayor Race

Times are too easy and have created a generation of weak people that create problems bc there really aren’t any. Unfortunately, we need tough times to create strong people and we won’t have to deal with BLM, Pride, Trans and communism/socialism. Liberals inherently are weak minded people and that is what we are witnessing.

  14. And that's why the gheys hate the Trans Freaks. Gheys just want to be treated like everyone else and live their lives. Trans are mentally ill and crave attention through their perversions.

    NYC Mayor Race

See I find just the opposite particularly if they’re in a role like mayor. They won’t be able to do anything about economic policies, socialism, taxation, crap like that. But they will have a big influence on stuff like gay rights, trans rights, abortion, diversity, DEI, rights for undocumented immigrants- a lot of positive stuff very important to me.

Nancy Mace being less than cordial, convivial, and gracious

My statement was more of a general point of view on why the reactions to trans people are what they are sometimes, and biological reactions to "the enemy." These are literally our lizard brain characteristics that won't go away despite hormones or whatever. Trans women don't suddenly lose aggression because they are now "female." It's still there. If you're in front of me wearing a dress and makeup, and then suddenly you Alpha Male it up because you're pissed, you're going to spread the illusion that trans people (namely trans women) are violent when it's suits them. It's a biological trait to incite fear in the others around you. Lions growl deeper. Monkeys and apes scream louder and show their teeth. Human males stand a little taller, puff out their chests a little, deepen their voice. I've seen other videos of where trans women do this when they feel they are being threatened.

The TDS is in full bloom.

The trannies I know say these types blow up their in boxes on social media, mostly married, middle-aged white guys who want to get with them. They also say they oppose gender-affirming care for anyone under 21 or at least 18. But they said they identified with the sex other than the one they were born with at a very young age, even like 5 or 6. They also say they just want to quietly live their lives and don't care much for the trannies who are out there shoving their agenda in people's faces, although the activist types make up only a small percentage of the LGBTQ community. Those who make the most trans noise are pretty much the same type as the so-called trans-hating knuckleheads in here. They should point their passions in more productive directions. Trans people are no threat to them.
  18. TB’s original claim was that trans stuff should be more important to women than abortion, since trans stuff affects “every” woman. We can argue about the #s, but wayyyy more women are going to have an abortion or unwanted pregnancy vs. be assaulted by a tranny in a public bathroom or lose a sports opportunity to one. And unless we’re talking about being raped by a tranny, the result of abortion laws is way more impactful than sports stuff. I’d bet most women would rather lose a sports competition than have to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term. Any way you slice it, TB’s argument is just dumb. Unfortunately you missed most of it and decided to pester me instead. That’s okay though I like you Jerry.
  19. What a shocker The father of a trans athlete, recently convicted on a child sexual abuse material distribution charge, has been arrested by the federal government after parents of children participating and attending Kearsarge Regional High School soccer games raised concerns about his presence. https://patch.com/new-hampshire/concord-nh/feds-arrest-child-abuse-distributor-convict-father-trans-athlete
  20. Long ago, on a discussion of abortion, I introduced the concepts of "infinity-minus" and "zero-plus," which actually came from my engineering world. Abortion advocates are infinity-minus -- their default is that abortion is legal, but we can carve out situations where it is illegal. I fall into the zero-plus camp, which is the opposite, because I oppose abortion for convenience. Theoretically you could arrive at the same point with each approach, but it is unlikely, and each is a different mindset. The point being that while I oppose abortion, I recognize that there are cases worth discussing its legality. This approach shows empathy and a willingness to negotiate solutions in good faith. I've had a lot of successful business negotiations with this approach. Back to trans, I tend to fall into the zero-plus camp as well regarding the privileges of their chosen gender, to use your phrase (which I like). Obviously, trans advocates like Squissy here are infinity-minus. But I do it from a backdrop of recognizing the reality that some small number of people truly have gender dysphoria. From this backdrop, we can have productive discussions with the infinity-minus folks regarding questions like: what do we do with such people? What is truly in their best interest? How do we merge that into a functioning and safe society? What about children? I find this approach much more productive and easier to defend than a staunch "zero" stance.
  21. You said trans issues affect “every” women and it’s a bigger issue than abortion. It only affects women who live in a state that allows trans in women’s sports and play the same sports as a tranny. And it only impacts all of them to the degree that they’re all one rank lower. How is that a bigger issue than abortion, something that potentially affects any sexually active woman and has a much greater consequence?
  22. But she also said “the Supreme Court ruled that trans isn’t a protected class.” Didn’t you just say they didn’t technically “rule” that? I am by no means a Supreme Court expert.

    Beef bacon > pork bacon

It's lower fat and trans fat. Less salt.
  24. I guarantee if you polled every actual lesbian and gay person in the United States, about 90% of them would be embarrassed how the other 10% behave. And they certainly don't want to be associated with trans and queer people. They are not the same.
  25. Unless a woman athlete is on the same team as a tranny or competes against one, how are they affected by a trans athlete? Seems like you assume every female in the state is affected by trans athletes but dismiss projections based on actual abortion data. Isn’t every sexually active woman potentially impacted by abortion law?
