This is what happens when society forces this stuff. Companies don't give a shlt about trans people. As seen here where they basically ghosted this trans person. At the same time when the CEO gets asked if he would work with it again, he skirted the question. His answer is clearly, No. But he can't say that because then you are transphobic. Can't just simply want to do what is best for the company as CEO in today's world. Too much virtue signaling. Half the people who virtue signal about this stuff, don't really give a rats azz about trans people.

If jonmx was raped as a child, like he prefers, he most likely would have grown up with severe trauma. That trauma would have probably led to him being sexually confused and either gay or trans. At some point he may have even elected to have sex reassignment surgery, thus becoming the one thing he claims is worse than being raped. It comes full circle.

Agree. Whats done is done. Now the move should be to learn from it, and adjust. The problem faced is interesting, to me. It was absolutely a reasoned gamble to tout the trans mental illness dogma. I mean, think about it, most of the normal people just take it....they are living their lives, they shrug and get back to work. Its the radical crazies on the left....the trannies....and others.....who are virulent, violent and loud.....if you are doing the math, pandering to the crazies is a pretty safe bet. The misstep here was they they did it.....and then immediately impugned their traditional customers.

People didn't voluntarily take kids to priests and ask for their genitals to be examined. Nothing was normalized. It was predatory. The church got plenty pf backlash from what I recall. Maybe no tagline "save the kids" Today society is so PC that they feel the need to normalize men dressing as women and waving their dongs around on a float. Many people think it is perfectly fine for children. Some trans have canceled events because children weren't allowed to come. I understand your point tho and mildly agree with it.

I haven't seen a poll, but I don't think that most gay men and lesbians would say that trans are "totally different" from them, which is why the T has been included in the alphabet since the 80s (not sure of exact timeframe). My understand is that they saw a commonality of dealing with hatred and discrimination because of a sexual identity different from the norm. And one term fitting all has never been acceptable going back to the 60s when lesbians balked at being called "gay" and refused to be included in that designation, not because they saw gay men as being "totally different" from them, but rather because they felt they didn't share the same goals and/or agenda.

You are missing my point. In your scenario the letters remain. I'm saying: what if we said, "you don't need all of those letters, we can just call you all "queer" or something. Gay, trans, pansexual, y'all are the same. They would be apoplectic and insist that gay and trans are totally different, and that the letters must remain.

An anecdotal opinion that means as much as an opinion from one black person you know. I have yet to see a poll of gay men or lesbians who agree that trans are "totally different" and are not part or should be not part of the LGBTQ community.

It is my cousin if you want details. Married a man, after 4 years got divorced. Informed her family that she was indeed a lesbian. Married a women 2 years later and they are divorced. Was married again last year to another female. I know as I have been to all 3 weddings. The bottom line is being trans and being gay are totally different.
