  1. I think this is unfair. Most of the people who go into some sort of climate change career truly believe that the earth is in trouble from man-made effects. That, however, significantly impacts the research they do and the results they publish. I do not believe there are a lot of truly objective scientists in the field. It's like a lot of medical fields. Doctors who perform abortions, shockingly, support abortions. Doctors who do trans surgeries, shockingly, support trans surgeries. Some of it is financial, sure, but I think they generally believe in what they do, or else they wouldn't have entered the field. But, wouldn't it also reflect the light as it is first coming in?

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

Your trans obsession is way disproportionate to the issue. I would rather a trans woman take a whiz in a stall of the ladies bathroom than come into the men's room all gussied up, hike up a skirt and whiz into a urinal. Obviously, this is what you want ...

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

So your trans obsession goes even deeper to include them going to the bathroom, never mind that 93.6 percent of sex abusers are men, that 57.5 percent of them are white and fewer than 1 percent of them are trans. https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/research-and-publications/quick-facts/Sexual_Abuse_FY21.pdf While there is some credibility over your concern about trannies going into women's bathrooms and touching kids and trans women playing in women's sports, that concern falls squarely into the category of MAGA hypercatastrophizing. 1.) More than 99 percent of trannies are not sex abusers. 2.) NCAA President Charlie Baker said in December 2024 that out of 500,000 college athletes, there were only 10 trannies, making up less than 0.002 percent. So if you're going to obsess over an issue that's a huge threat to society, perhaps you should obsess over hunger, illiteracy, crime and other major issues instead of obsessing over an issue whose percentages come with one or two numbers on the right side of the decimal. HTH.

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

Exactly, and here we have a 6-year-old thread with 18 pages of MAGAs obsessing over trannies, with HT adding like 30 posts and lots of trans videos to fuel their obsession.

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

If you're not interested in trannies, why are you in this thread? I'm here to explore the MAGA mindset of tranny obsession. Trannies likely don't want MAGAs to obsess over them the way they do! Do you look up trannies online to take in their hair colors? Perhaps the thread title here should be "I find it hard not to see trans obsession as a mental illness." Perhaps you should get some therapy for your trans obsession. It's neither healthy nor normal to spend so much time obsessing about trannies.

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

If I were a MAGA and needed a tranny news fix, I'd have to go to Fox, Newsmax, Breitbart, far-right podcasts, etc., to get it, because elsewhere I just see regular news coverage, with any trans news restricted to court rulings. Where do you go to get your tranny fix?

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

That's Matt Walsh from The Daily Wire. He made "What is a Woman?", a documentary about the trans movement and its difficulty answering the title question. So it literally is his job to discuss such things. HTH

    Feel Good Deportation Stories

Trans People Have Disappeared From ICE Records, Against Congressional Orders The Trump administration has made efforts to "erase" transgender people, who face violence and medical neglect behind bars.
  12. No proof that any trans folks were a part of this ICE facility attack.
  13. I am 100 percent sure would like to BELIEVE it is fake. Sadly, it is not. I made sure to explain to my son during all of this that his cousin was just having some mental health issues. We love her still but were not going to believe the nonsense she is pushing. She still goes by her "boy" name( which could really be a boy or a girl name) , but she is now a girl again. It was a really wild thing to see. She went from an adorable little girl to being a fat slob that probably weighed in at 200lbs for a 5ft4 female. THEN she started to have mental issues where she wanted to be a boy. But wait. A new medical drug comes along, and she dropped 70lbs then she starts wearing girls clothing and finds a boyfriend. Suddenly she is no longer trans. Trans is just a cry for help and a failure by the medical establishment to answer that cry for help in an appropriate way. Literally all his cousin needed was a WLD and a counselor that reaffirmed she was a normal human with normal human feelings of being worthless at times. While explaining she was NOT abby normal or worthless. 5-10 years from now we are going to look back on this trans madness and wonder why we allowed so many kids to damage themselves. Where were the responsible adults who were supposed to guide them? What were they doing to help? Why didn't they speak up? Where were the advocates for sanity?
  14. I have been saying this for years. They have a willfully undiagnosed mental illness and I explain it like this. If my kid told me they had to puke after eating to feel right the doctors would not affirm this. They would not tell him it is ok to puke after every meal. Yet somehow if I brought the same kid to them and said he does not feel like a boy they slap a dress on him and call him Sally? bulllshit. That is a failure of the medical establishment, My sons female cousin was going through a lot of mental issues and tried to kill herself a few times. The last time she went to the U of M and they convinced her that she was a boy. She started saying things like " I am a boy and I always have been" The thing is she was a fat slob. She got put on a WLD and lost 70 lbs, suddenly a boy took interest in her and she is no longer trans. I think a lot of this is self confidence issues.
  15. Trump isn't "dismantling trans rights." Trannies have always had every right that everyone else has had and then until recently more on top. If Canadian judges don't like US policy barring them from female spaces and sports, they can feel free to let the tranny stay in Canada.
  16. Non-Binary Trannies Is it a he, is it a she?? It doesn't even know. SCIENCE! When Angel Jenkel first came to Canada from the U.S. three years ago, the world was a different place. Their Canadian boyfriend, who they were visiting, was in good health. And back home, the U.S. was making progress on transgender rights under president Joe Biden. Now, their financé is ill and requires regular care. And back home, U.S. President Donald Trump is rapidly scaling back the rights of trans people, which could put Jenkel, who is non-binary, in the crosshairs. Jenkel was scheduled to be deported from Canada this month. But a Federal Court judge issued a stay of removal, arguing the immigration officer who examined their case failed to take into account their role in caring for their fiancé, or the "current conditions for LGBTQ, non-binary and transgender persons" in the U.S. Advocates for 2SLGBTQ+ migrants say this could set a precedent for other cases like Jenkel's, and help change the way Canada's immigration system deals with applications from the U.S. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRRC) declined to comment on Jenkel's case, citing privacy concerns. Trump's anti-trans executive orders Jenkel, a 24-year-old artist from Minnesota, came to Canada on a visa in August 2022 to visit their then-boyfriend, now fiancé, a social media influencer and Door Dash driver in Thunder Bay, Ont. At first, Jenkel says they planned to stay for six months. But their fiancé's epilepsy took a sudden turn for the worst, and Jenkel has become his primary source of at-home care. The couple is now living in London, Ont., so he can be closer to the medical care he needs for his frequent seizures. Meanwhile, the political climate for transgender people in the U.S. has dramatically changed under Trump's second presidency. 17. 100% accurate. Give the gay community credit. They just wanted to love who they loved. Yeah it met with some resistance at first but over time most people were fine with it. But the kid thing with the trans community was too much
  18. Rich leftoid parents need a trans accessory to drag around and brag about if they want to fit in properly with their cult of rich leftoid friends. Consequently, whatever kid they got was assigned 'trans' at birth.
  19. Why do such a high % of celebrities have trans kids?
  20. So conservatives aren’t allowed to think that trans people exist?
  21. I just reported a trans-obsessed Barbadian.
  22. Not that I'm aware of. If I implied that, it was a mistake. I'll also add that in the case of Brianna, I've only known of her as Brianna, not when she was Brian or whatever her original name was. I first heard of her when she did a rebuttal to J.K. Rowling's interview series on The Free Press regarding trans people (also published there). I didn't agree with many of her points, but she presented them intelligently.
  23. FWIW, my reasoning was for how I refer to people in discussions like this, not to their face. To their face, I'm pretty much what you describe. I'll respect the gender they choose if I know about it, or go by presentation otherwise. I've told the story before, but my daughter was in HS Theater, and a lot of those kids are from the island of misfit toys. One was a boy named Jordan who decided he was a girl named Dani (interesting that he picked a male-sounding name). Dani didn't terribly present as a girl, so you would call him a him if you saw him. But out of respect for him and my daughter, I referred to him as she/her. I call him a him now because he later decided he was a boy after all. See, Jordan came from a shiot home life, and the trans thing was a cry for attention. Many of the leftists here tell me this is unpossible, that experiences and situations can't make someone trans. My life experience begs to differ. It's a big part of why I am so adamant against confused kids getting medical/hormonal treatments.

Brianna Wu: If I were in charge of the trans movement...

I don't care and am not talking about specific people who will never be satisfied, nor am I claiming that the rest of her statement covers EVERY main hot button issue regarding trans. My point was that you cherry picked their last statement about what the conversation can change to while leaving out the fact that the very person who made the statement has just finished explaining a list of things that they feel would help get us to that point.

Brianna Wu: If I were in charge of the trans movement...

Not really. You tried a "gotcha" with the focking question because yes, the answer is yes, it makes you ghey. But sexual preference is different than all the gender identity stuff, so the question really has nothing to do with what he chooses to call this person. I personally feel that trans is people playing make believe. Yet if I interact with someone I am going to call them she/her/miss etc or he/him/sir etc based on what I think they look like. I'm not the least bit concerned with not calling them their preferred pronouns, my point is I'm going to call them something and I may get it wrong compared to their biological sex. Doesn't make me ghey. I would also call this person a she if I just had a passing interaction. My reasoning is not as nuanced as Jerrys but I think it's fairly easy to understand unless someone needs to be purposely insensitive just for the sake of it.
