    Sell High

I will start things off with Dwayne Allen. Had a good game in a shootout, but the other TE Doyle (dude is 6' 6") played just as well, got just as many targets, and scored 2 TD's. Allen needs TD's to be a low-end TE1. With Doyle coming outta nowhere to play the Fleener role, he is gonna bleed Allen dry, I am afraid. Might be a good time to move Willie Sneed too. Also in a shootout, he was fantastic (9/9/172/1), and is worthy of a weekly start.....but was way beyond his normal weekly production, and his value may never be higher. Cooks will be a weekly stud, with a guessing game each week between Sneed, Thomas, Fleenor, etc. Who else you got?

    Deep Sleeper WR's

Well, by now, serious FF players have already mapped out their Wide Receiver prospects for the upcoming season. However, without fail, there are one or two diamonds that fly beneath the radar, ready for a gambler to grab in the last round of a redraft. I am sure that many of you have someone that you are eyeing...but are you willing to share? Here is mine: Tyrell Williams - SD Second year man outta Western Oregon with good metrics. 6'4" and 205, and described by coaches and teammates as a tremendous natural athlete, he ripped off a 4.42 - 40 at his pro day. After SD became decimated with injury last year (Allen, Floyd, Stevie), he came in against Denver late in the year and ripped off an 80 yard TD against Talib. When Benjamin was nursing an injury at minicamp, it wasn't Inman that came in with the 1st-teamers....it was Tyrell Williams. I expect the Charger passing game to be markedly improved this year, and it seems that Williams could be a top-shelf candidate to shine....particularly considering the injury history of their WR corps.

    Championship D/ST

Thought I was in good shape a few weeks ago. Had New England weeks 14/15....and that worked out. And I had Buffalo lined up for week 16. Suddenly I don't like that matchup as well. Granted they get Kellen Moore but he actually might be a little better than Cassell. Plus Dallas can run the ball on Buffalo. Having second thoughts about the matchup. Might have to go Detroit against SF or Minny against Beckham-less Giants. What's your plan for Championship D/ST?

    Survivor pool

Right now i'm leaning toward Tennessee @ home against Miami Miami looks so bad offensively and defensively... I'm also considering Minnesota @ home against K.C. (i would have maybe taken G.B. but i've already used them.) Thoughts?

    Survivor Pool - Week 2

Another tricky week. Only two games have spreads over 6; Saints 9 1/2 over TB and Indy 7 over the Jets. I'm leaning towards the Saints at home but I'm also not thrilled about picking a team that went 3-5 at home last season and no longer has its biggest offensive weapon. Who is everyone else leaning towards?

    Players to Buy Low

Right about now is panic time for a lot of fantasy owners, particularly with the bye-weeks coming up and roster fluctuation in full-gear. So who are the guys that you are targeting as an excellent "steal"? For me? Montee Ball. Knowshon Moreno's 1st 3 games last season (Baltimore/NYG/Oakland): Week One: 9 rushes: 28 yards Week Two: 13 rushes: 93 yards, 2 TDs Week Three: 12 rushes: 39 yards Montee Ball (Indy/KC/Seattle: All 3 opponents were 2013 Playoff participants): Week One: 23 rushes: 67 yards, 1TD Week Two: 12 rushes: 60 yards Week Three: 14 rushes: 38 yards For you PPR fantasy owners, Knowshon had seven receptions for 57 yards in three games. Ball? Seven receptions for 51 yards. The sky might not be falling as much as some would let on....

    FF Playoff studs

Curious to hear who the Geeks have a good feeling about this weekend and beyond. The goal is to find those gems who play the most games, obviously. Anyone have any gut calls about this weekend's games or otherwise?
  14. QBs Drew Brees QB NO ADP 3.01 - To me there is no way Brees makes near the mid 2nd round of most drafts. For me the 2nd Tier RBs and WRs can't give you the almost automatic production that Brees gives you. I know a lot of people might flame here for saying that Brees will go late 1st round to mid 2nd round, but that's where i will probably be selecting him. (In all of my leagues for the last few years the champion has had an ELITE qb... Rodgers and Brees are the only two that fit this bill IMO) WRs Calvin Johnson WR DET ADP 1.08 - I don't know if you can call it a 'reach', but if i have a pick after 1.03 i will be selecting megatron. I don't want to risk it on the Jamaal Charles' and the CJ Spillers of the world. To me you can get almost the same value at RB in later rounds... RBs Andre Brown RB NYG ADP 7.07 - I know Wilson had a great second half of last season, but i'm still not sold on him. Coughlin won't tolerate any fumbles or mixed blocking assignments with a hard running Andre Brown on the bench. If i had a mid to late 6th round pick and Brown was there... i don't think that i could help myself LeVeon Bell RB Pitt ADP 4.05 - This is either the year that Pitt loses relevance or the year that they get back to what they are good at... running the ball then taking advantage of the play action pass. My guess is on the 2nd choice. I really like bell in this offense, and am excited to see how the steelers feature him in the preseason. I know there is still some competition in Pitt, but i think Bell comes out on top. Others QB Tony Romo DAL ADP 8.01 WR Michael Floyd ARI ADP 11.04 WR Justin Blackmon JAC ADP 10.10 RB Alfred Morris WAS ADP 1.11 WR Brandon Marshall CHI ADP 2.06
