NFL Drfat profiles

Recommended Posts

I gotta say though, I've read three RB profiles, and only agreed with one so far. Good to get opinions though.

Williams is a 3rd down back? Yikes. I don't see that at all.

I could on and on regarding his Calhoun take, but that'd make look like a huge homer. We can't have that.

They posted this with a ton of errors. I wouldn't pay attention until a massive edit is posted.

I will comment on this...

because he could have helped himself by staying at Wisconsin another season to hopefully add a little weight and prove his durability -- which are two of the big questions surrounding him.

Did they not see the number of carries and touches he had last season? Can someone remind me of how much he was injurred?

He might have made a better point to question whether Calhoun can remain durable because he plays behind a road grading offense that gets him into the 2nd level more consistently without a defender within an arm's distance than most college backs. The fact he hasn't taken big shots or encounters a lot of traffic early in his runs might be a more telling way to explain his concerns. Just a thought...

Calhous will make a great 3rd down back and return man. Thats prolly it.

I'm thoroughly disappointed SI doesn't have their profiles this year. I always found those to be top notch.

NFL's must have just come up, I didn't see them earlier this week when updating the links. I'll pull the profiles out of some other sights and add a section in the links soon.

Embarrassingly bad attempt at analysis. I mean pathetic. So DeAngelo Williams should be drafted in the 6th round and be a borderline special teams player. Totally stupid.
