I think that was a mistake. Should have gone with Davis.

I still am surprised that Vince Young gets drafted that high. I guess that I just wasn't impressed by his play in college, and that it would translate well to the NFL. I definitely would have preferred Cutler, but that's just me.

That's what happens when the owner gets involved.

I find it interesting that the golden boy Leinart is still there. He is losing $$$$$$ and wondering if he will ever get drafted.

Whitner is a reach. You have to trade down in that situation, and grab him a few picks later.

Lienart goes now to Arizona. Sure, he may have lost millions, but he couldn't be going to a better situation. He'll step in to a program with two marquee WRs and a veteran QB to let him sit a year and learn.

That is very true but I wonder if he will sit the whole year. Warner isn't exactly lighting it up. I think Lienart starting before the end of the year. I think he is getting into a very good stituation. I just think he was expecting to go much much sooner.

Ten picks. No trades.

Warner finished the season with like 5 or 6 300-yard games in a row........

Philly, I know you didn't get to see alot of Young's games outside of the 2 Rose Bowl games, but how could you not be impressed with what he accomplished? Don't get me wrong, I've warmed up to Cutler and like what he brings to the table, especially his mobility and arm strength. Young is a great fit for Tennesse and Cutler is a great fit for Denver.

But Warner is an injury waiting to happen.

I watch tons of college games every year, with the betting that I do, I pretty much have to. I saw numerous Texas games.

Young is going to go through growing pains to adjust to the NFL. He is an excellent leader, and has physical ability. But I am not sold on his passing ability and reading defenses quickly. He could turn out to be a very servicable QB, but not a star IMO. I just don't know if he is going to be able to run the Tenn offense all that well. Hopefully, for Tenn, he turns out more like Steve McNair than Akili Smith. He is a project, and more often than not, project QBs flame out. I guess it boils down to a safe choice vs high risk and reward. And at #3, that's a lot of cap room devoted to risk. And the Wonderlic fiasco is a huge concern.

Time will tell.
