t.j 35 Posted April 29, 2006 Moved up into the top 10 for some after his pro day, but still hanging around. Seems unlikely the Eagles will go OT at 14, or the Rams at 15. Maybe Miami at 16? I wouldn't mind if the Raiders traded up for the guy at this point.

Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I want Bobby Carpenter, but I certaintly wouldn't be suprised to see the Pats move up and pick him if he slips much further.

Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 Marcus Johnson back to Guard and Winston Justice as the Vikings' RT? I'd rather grab a guard in the second, Davin Joseph or Max Jean-Gilles.
whoisjgalt 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'd rather grab a guard in the second, Davin Joseph or Max Jean-Gilles. And grab Chad Greenway here?
Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 And grab Chad Greenway here? OLB is a major need. Much more than an OT.

TyCobb 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Winston Justice - started as a Freshman for USC. Nuff said. Carpenter - not even the best LB on his own college team. Terrible pick.
Farmer Bernie 0 Posted April 29, 2006 i want the Texans to trade up already and draft him Plenty of OL out there. We don't need to trade up.
Bently 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Winston Justice - started as a Freshman for USC. Nuff said. Carpenter - not even the best LB on his own college team. Terrible pick. I will argue that he is the second best LB in this draft. Your reasoning is bogus, it isn't his fault that he happened to play alongside Hawk and accordingly got no props. I would also argue he is a more sure tackler and better pass rusher than Hawk. Perfect pick for the cowboys, he will be a monster on that team.
Deadpool 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Winston Justice - started as a Freshman for USC. Nuff said. Carpenter - not even the best LB on his own college team. Terrible pick. Your argument is bogus. You could have said this for many players...... Example: Priest Holmes was the 2nd best Rb on his college team, despite actually playing good when he had a chance in Texas. Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 If he falls much farther, I think it's a near lock that he's one of the players that failed the drug test.

Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 I'll guess top of the 2nd to the Texans. I don't see him falling any farther than Houston. They desperately need line help, and Winston is a possible top ten pick without these character concerns.
Orgazmo 2 Posted April 29, 2006 If he falls much farther, I think it's a near lock that he's one of the players that failed the drug test. I wonder if Jimmy Williams was the other (or one of them)

Vikings4ever 550 Posted April 29, 2006 I wonder if Jimmy Williams was the other (or one of them) Could be. I was just going to bring up that he's falling much farther than I thought. I figured the Rams would be looking at him. He may be going to the Bills now.

Thin Spirit 0 Posted April 29, 2006 He had to have failed a drug test. New Orleans just traded out of the #2 in the second round, when they need an OT and especially when they wanted D'Brick in the first round, originally. Sucks to be Winston right now.
