"3 dead chicks of unknown can sizes were killed by gators!!!" It's all over the local news right now (Orlando). They aren't 100% about the homeless lady attack thinking she might have been already dead before the gator got her. In any case, it's very weird to have so many attacks in 1 week. This is a combination of: Coincidence, mating season, loss of habitat, gators less timid of people, yankees retiring in Florida and thinking it's fun to feed aligators, etc...... I started seeing them last month in one of my more productive fossil dive sites. I moved downriver to where there was more salt water. Now I just have to worry about sharks. It is also all these save the man-eater creature groups out there. I am all for save the whales, dolphins, manatees, eagles, owls whatever.
