He had a tough year last year, but injuries and a crappy QB situation had more to do with it than ability. I like Kitna to lead a more stable offense this year, and Jones will certainly get a majority of the carries as well as the GL carries. I like Jones to have a better year this year. Da Bomb 0 Posted June 19, 2006 lewis, finally off the board. the RB that no one wanted to pick. i tried oh so very hard to convince myself into him at 3.3, but couldnt do it. and funny thing is that if peyton had been gone by 2.6, jamal lewis was next on erb's list already back then, then he slid all the way to the 3rd and erb passed on him again lol. i just dont like what i saw from jamal at all last year. that line isnt quite as dominant as it once was, and neither is he. he wont be showing up on any of my teams this year, thats for sure. I actually considered it, but I think its too far of a reach at 3.08. I thought about taking Jamal too, but I think my pressing need was a WR, and I think by my next pick the drop off for WRs would be more significant than of RBs...I don't know about you all, but I'm fairly happy with my team so far. Before the draft started I was actually hoping to get Tiki at 1.05, Westbrook at 2.08 and Jackson at 3.05. Westbrook was taken befor ethe 2.08 so my plans changed. Nice to see another fan around here other than the ridiculous swampdog. Where abouts in Michigan are you from tdz? I'm in Westland. And you? We actually have a local league that was formed from FFToday posters. I believe we're going into the 4th year of that league. It's a money league and we have a live draft, normally in Royal Oak.
