Chasers Plus

Recommended Posts

Sorry if posted already, I remember seeing something about it and maybe it was here.

You take a couple of pills when you start drinking and take a couple more as the night progresses and you wake up refreshed and ready to go. Doesn't matter how much you drink, you never have a headache or a hangover, apparently you actually feel great like you've gotten 10 hours of sleep even if it was only like 5. :(

Anyone hear of this or use it or know someone that has/does? Does it work?

I've heard it's just vitamin B and if you simply take vitamin B before you go out it will have the same effect.

Take that damn sig off

That has got to be the most annoying commercial of all time.

I take them if I know I'm going to have a hard night. The main ingredient is Calcium carbonate, which is the same stuff they use to soak up alcohol if you have to get a stomach pumped (my friend who is a doctor told me that.. I don't know from personal experience).

I feel great the next morning, no effects at all.

I've taken Chasers a number of times and it always has worked for me - no hangovers the next day. I've heard about other stuff working as well for cheaper, but never tried them.

Isn't that the stuff in Tums or Rolaids, etc? I thought I heard something about charcoal?

They have worked for me the few times I have taken them, but it didn't make me feel like I got 10 hours of sleep when I only got 5. I had no headache or anything but I was still tired in the morning.

I take B Complex sometimes before I drink and it helps, but I think Chaser is a little bit better.

I don't think that would work in this case.

And why did you call those posters that have tried it a retard? That's not very nice.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

I have never heard of or talked to a person who took it and it didn't work for. If it was a pure placebo, one would expect some failures. Admittedly it is a small sample size of anecdotal evidence, but it makes me think it is more than simply a placebo.

A placebo is tested by comparing it to a known effective treatment. Without that, the success rate doesn't tell us much.

I've done thousands of clinical trials since Chasers came out and with a varience of .096, I can safely tell you that half of the time, it works every time.

:also I have never tried it, but I should, I get nasty hangovers in my old age:

I have done some experimentation with my friends using Chasers. We found that by sticking to the same beverage and drinking lots of water(we usually go 1 for 1) we wound up feeling the same with or without the Chaser. Still a little off but about 90% with 5-7 hours sleep. No headaches, laziness, sh!tmouth, intestinal garbage etc.

My fave is either beer and lots of it, or red bull vodkas which I switch to vodka/soda later so the red bull doesnt keep me up...always go 1 for 1 water for drink, get 5-7 hours sleep, repeat as necessary...

They work. Another method that never fails is to simply drink water as you're drinking beer or whatever. You'll piss twice as much, but no hangover.

Water does the job...even if your don't drink it 1 for 1 during the night, force down several glasses before going to bed and you'll feel a lot better in the morning as well. Much of the bad feeling/headache comes from dehydration.

for expensive as those pills are, you might as well drink good liquor...

for instance... a vodka not too expensive, that doesn't give me hangovers is VOX... that stuff is delicious... and only about 22-27 bucks for 750 ml in the iowa area... also i've been told kettel one is hangover proof... drinking better liquor sounds good to me

So it works even if you really get loded? I might have to try that.

That's what a guy I know claims. And he drinks to the point of blacking out and never has any problems the next morning, whereas in the past he would be a wreck.

The drinking water thing has merit though, most of your issues the next morning are caused by dehydration. I just can't see drinking 1 to 1 or even 2 to 1. I may as well stand at the urinal all night :ninja:
