i have NO problem with the A's and the way they go about their business..but in the end..you have to cheer for a midwest team...

 

my cousin from rochester hills was calling me every inning...

 

it was fun to hear the excitement and nervousness in his voice...he loves hoops too..but i dont get real excited about any pro team..

 

baseball is right up there though...

 

went to the entire tigers series at milwaukee vs the brewers..i had nothing to get signed but i had my glove..so 4 guys signed it..fernando rodney, verlander, ordonez and vance wilson..vance didnt understand what i meant when i said i had him on my homer fb team...

 

when i explained it was all mets and ex mets..he was

 

rodney said.."you were on the mets?" (as if guys dont know..)

 

vance said.."im old.."

 

rodney said.."i know that..i just didnt know you were on the mets"

 

vance just laughed..gave the tiger fans there a (there were a lot of tigers fans there)...

 

(i dont know Spanish enough to know what Carlos Guillen was saying..but it was the most carefree team that i had seen all year...)
