Not really, they did pretty good this year. I'd be pretty bitter if my team was a favorite to get to and/or win the W.S. and didn't though.

You must be a Mets fan too then?

Every year the Yankees don't make it, considering Steinbrenner tries to buy it every year, makes them the most disappointing.

I think that's how most of the votes will go. They had an All-Star at every position for jiminey crickets!

I went with the Yanks, for the reason mentioned above.

The Mets went to game seven, just a couple of good bounces away from the WS. I just can't believe that Beltran went down looking, you have to produce in that situation, or at least take the bat off your shoulder. Thats the stuff you dream of as a little kid in the backyard.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. But Wainwright did have a sick curve ball.

Nah, hate the Mets. If I had to pick a National League team, I would prolly pick the Phillies, cuz of where I live. However, it's tough to label the Mets' season a disappointment. They went to game 7 of the NLCS and they lost a close one. Them's the breaks.

The Yankees were a huge disappointment. The Mets...not so much.

Went to game 7 of the NLCS without their best and 3rd best starting pitcher. I wouldn't consider that a huge dissapointment.

Always nice to see someone agree with me, even if it is edjr.

Maybe not a huge disappointment, but obviously a pretty big disappointment. After all, they were supposed to represent the NL (especially with how sucky the NL and the NLE was) in the WS. They imploded as usual.

They were supposed to represent the NL all year, but people knew that the only team with a real shot at them was the Cardinals. Not on the same level as the Yankees, but a disappointment perhaps.

I voted Yankees, but the real answer is Fox Sports. I hope they leave the windows locked on the higher floors at HQ today.

Destined to be one of the least followed World Series in recent memory.

And fock if I care, my team is in it!

I'm going to say the Mets... sure some will say the Yankees tried to buy the championship again, but that hasn't worked for six years now.

The Yankees fans should be used to their team rolling to the best record in the AL and then coming up short in the play-offs. When you also consider the injuries they had, and the obvious pitching problems the Yankee fans shouldn't be too surprised. The Yankees also lost to a team that was the best, albeit surprsing, in the AL for most of the year.

The Mets on the other hand looked to finally get over that hump of trying to "buy" a title. The Mets were able to finally beat their nemesis during the regular season and win their division. Not to mention they were running away with not only their division but the NL in general. They then came crashing down last night by squandering a bases loaded situation to lose, at home, to a team that was close to missing the play-offs.

the yankees ended up hitting a wall... :(

fox can eat it..they only put ny teams in primetime..im sick of the other teams having to be in the day because of the high priced, underachieving teams....

2 strikes on me in the 9th? nah..im not swinging..nice job floyd and beltran..

I didn't vote because I feel not one shred of disappointment in watching both these teams lose.
