Coolest car from a

Recommended Posts

Okay, you have:

A-Team's Van

Grand Turino from Starski and Hutch

General Lee

Roadster (whatever it is) from the Munsters

Herbie The Love Bug

Pacer from Wayne's World

Kit from Knight Rider

1977 Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit

Phooeymobile....Hong Kong Phooey

The Clunker from Beverly Hillbillies

Well, I think you get the point........what is the coolest car ever from a movie/tv

I'm taking "Elanor" the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500 from Gone in 60 Seconds. The baddest azz car ever!

Oh, the Gadgetmobile don't count. It has to be a real vehicle......no hover crafts or invisible jets.

The batmobile from the original tv show was pretty kick a$$. I still think it's cooler than anything they've come up with in the movies.

Not saying the coolest, but me and my friends back in HS saw KITT in a mall parking lot all by itself after the late movies got out. It was exact, except it didn't talk. We were checking it at till a couple of security gaurds made us leave.

Also, once saw the exact opposite of the General Lee, the Geberal Grant, baby blue charger, with a US flag, in Lake George NY....sweet ass car.

Yeah, I loved that car. I've tried to find one that is 1:18 scale, but I haven't been able to. All you find are the new ones or the ones from Cartoons....

I was flipping between that and speed buggy. True the PhooeyMobile COULD morph into many shapes. And that cool little blippity-blippity noise it made was pretty cool too.

Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some fockin' muscle.

I'm torn.

On the one hand, you have the 1971 'Cuda 426 Hemi from Phantasm II

http://images.businessweek.com/ss/06/01/to..._71cuda_f34.jpg

On the other hand, you have the Aston Martin DB8 from James Bond

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f57/Yseg.../2347463242.jpg

In a close call, while the Hemi Cuda has fetched as much as 2 million dollars at auction, there's no arguing with performance - so gimme the Aston Martin.

Damn, first one I saw was $200, that's cool that you found these though. I've looked on Ebay and have never seen them.

One of my never ending collections is cars from tv/movies, so I appreciate this find!!

the PhooeyMobile

Memories of Hong Kong Fooie.......too funny, I think you broke my rules, but I don't care because you found a pic and it's just too funny.

ok, THAT is the coolest vehicle. With that, I could sell most of it, get enough $ for the A.M. DB8, and still have plenty left for getting stoned to the bejesus in my early retirement.

Firebird from Smokey and the Bandit

itsatip that Trans Am.

:dunno:

That's a good one.

Didn't the guys from Miami Vice used to tool around in a white Testarrosa?

Sonny Crockett's rides trumped Magnum's:

1) a mid-80s testarossa

2) a late 60s Daytona Spider (although I'm pretty sure they used a kitcar version instead of the real deal)

I (and anyone with half a brain) would take a V-12 Ferrari over the crappy 308 (3.0 liter V-8).

I am appalled, SHOCKED that we have gone 30 posts and no one mentioned the Mach 5.

If it had a tricked out 350 under the hood it could probably scoot. That would be a fun ride even if it wasn't the real McCoy.

Sonny could be driving a Gremlin, and he'd still be cool
