I update it. Take songs off and then add others.

There's not a 300 song limit. That's what I happen to have programmed right now. That brings me to about nineteen hours of music. If I were to add much more, at one time, I'd be a little too close to 24 hours, which would mean that the same songs would play at the same time the next day.

 

As it stands now, I re-program about a third of the songs every few days. In a two week period, the entire cycle is different.

 

I can take requests, but they are not instantaneous. The program puts my playlist in a cache. Any changes I make now probably wouldn't take effect for a few hours.

Happens to me too. The display shows the album cover, song title and author but no music. Once I click the FF button it's ok.

That's about 100 songs more than the entire rotation of the average oldies broadcast radio station.

 

I don't consider myself a huge fan of the genre; I was on-air at a CHR station at the time, and there's nothing that takes the joy out of music more than working in radio. But each time I tune in I find something fun within just a couple songs. Good job, man.

 

Haven't heard any Cars yet. What's in rotation? 'Since You're Gone' is a favorite.

I've been listening all day (since 8am) and I've heard Triumph's Magic Power twice as of this moment.

(first time I heard it was only a few hours ago... around lunchtime).

 

Not that there's anything wrong with that! This song actually brings back a lot of memories for me!

I'm not sure why the stream stops sometimes. It could be an interuption in your personal bandwith, as some listeners have told me it neveer happens to them. It could also just be a glitch in lala's software. Hopefully, it gets straightened out.

 

BEG, why the Triumph song played twice within four hours is a mystery to me. I went back to make sure i hadn't inadvertantly programmed it in twice, but I hadn't. Another glitch, i suppose.

 

BLS, Harden My Heart is on the playlist. You happened to hear a different one which I also played. I didn't realize you were such a Harden My Heart fan. I will send you the mp3, if you like.

There actually is a way to put a few voice recordings on there. It says that I have to download a plug-in first. I'll look into it.

 

I added the Banshees tune. Due to the way their server caches the playlist, it'll probably be about an hour until it plays.
