I had played for a while and built up my arsenal with nothing but rare and uncommon items. Now I had to sell some of them off to buy focking COMMON WEAPONS?!?! WTF? What war would you ever fight when you would consider using a tree limp over a focking sword because you didn't want to run out of stamina? So as of now I am going to try to log in a couple times a day just to build up everpoints until they get this thing sorted out. PS - that Zeras b!tch is a whiney little tool also. Seriously, though, first time was to see how I could do against a higher ranked player from FFT - after getting sanded, and upgrading skills a bit - I tried again....then times three through five were b/c I kept getting my a$$ whooped....and wanted to break my streak - I obviously suck! This game is BS anymore...I can attack edjr and get TOTALLY killed one time, then just barely get beat the next...WTF? It's not consistent ever (minus the fact that edjr owns me...) hoytdwow 202 Posted June 6, 2007 I'm getting kind of tired of the game...I don't know what I'm supposed to do to get better. I've trained the skills relevant to the items I have almost to the max, but there is little change in what happens on the battlefield. And they just keep saying they're not done modifying it, blah blah blah. the rankings never change, never get any good prizes, useless crap in the shops, battles are too randomly determined, I can't beat edjr, etc. etc. Why can't someone design a simple fun nerdy game? I didnt notice till after I attacked someone Also, they show stamina in battles now HOLY CRAP!! look at all the changes they made. DrJ 0 Posted June 6, 2007 So, what's it going to be, Fighter, Ranger or Mage? Until you start to get super powerful stuff in one area, 500 skills points is enough to be a fighter/mage. You can wear heavy armor and cast spells, and have plenty of skill points left over. Unless you've got a bunch of heavy 60 stuff, you can wear heavy 40's for 120 skill points and have 380 left over for magic. Another thing you could do is be a fighter and collect all of your spells from one group like fire/force/etc. They don't have resists against spell types at this point, so there's no benefit to having spells from all of the various groups right now. Just get 4 fire spells, train your fire magic skill, and be a fighter outside of that. They also have mage armor, so if you can collect enough of that spidersilk stuff you'll have some decent armor at even more reasonable skill points costs. And I'm sure there's plenty more changes coming... Fock those dillholes. I upgraded my skills a lot yesterday. Before the changes, you were encouraged to attack a lot. But I don't have enough goodies to use up my skill points anyways, so it's not a concern yet. For example I have a helmet that would normally give me 38 armor if I had it filled all the way in skills. As it is at only 2/3 of the way there I only get 19 armor from it. If you fight, you can get a skill point, a regular item (which you can sell back for an everpoint), or a kickass item. There's no real point in buying skill points.
