Upcoming Changes - 10) Items now use Energy Points

Please note that "energy" is the generic term for the game engine. We may choose another name before or after the update.

 

To help balance the battles and put more strategy into the game, we have added an Energy Points System to the battle engine.

 

When a battle begins, each player has 100 energy points (there is no way to alter this number). Every time an item is used that requires energy points, the energy points required will be deducted from your total energy points remaining.

 

Common items require no energy points. Uncommon items require 1 energy point. Rare items require 3 energy points. UltraRare items require 5 energy points.

 

If you run out of energy or some of your items require more energy points than you have remaining, those items will be removed from your character (deck) for the remainder of the battle.

 

So, if you equip all R/UR items, you had better win the battle quickly or have at least one Common item equipped.

 

Gotta love strategies

So it looks like you will have to equip a few common items now. Has any one seen a common item that does more damage than 14? I had a common sword that did 14 damage but sold it quite some time ago. I am going to be focked because all my items are uncommon and rare!

I don't mind it that much, it will make for a better stratergery, and possibly give the more recent players (such as myself) a chance to gain on some of the higher ranked guys like yourself and ed.

I would wait a while to buy anything. At least until after Monday. I think you are going to need all the gold you can get to fill up the new "stats". So for now I am selling off anythig I can't use and just saving my gold.

KayJay1971 UN-equips all his weapons and armor then we all continually attack him until our rankings are upgraded. He loves us so this should be a non-issue for him … correct?

So i have 255 wins and out of all of my equipment, i only have two things that aren't common. I have one rare item and one uncommon item. Other than that, everything is common.

Made it to 181 in the rankings... of course now people are attacking the fock out of me... and kicking my azz.

 

I finally got a decent item or two, but it took cashing in 101 prize claims in rapid succesion.....

It's not fantastic great, but it beats the +8 armor helm I did have. Still nothing better than Uncommon for me

I totally have no problem with that if you guys want to rank up. Tell you what, all weekend long when I am signed off on EverWars, I will unequip. If it shows that I am online, don't attack me because I will be equiped ONLY at that time. How's that grab you?

I don't know if it helps, but Bigunreal asked me to do it and I have no problem letting you guys rank up. Do it if you want to.

The problem with this, if I understand Monday's system correctly, is if you jump way up in the rankings but don't really have the skill to be there you are going to get lambasted on Monday. The only way you are going to be able to secure good items is by beating people close to your rank. If you jump up in the system on KayJay's kindness, you won't be able to beat anyone ranked near you because they won't be as nice. So you are going to have to do a freefall down the rankings until you get to people more in your 'talent-level'.

No...I thought (when I first started playing) that I could get around the system. So I created my main character, and the two others thinking I would get prize codes for them. Well apparently they have to come from different IP addresses. D'oh!! Oh well I still play all 3 characters and they are actually doing well. I am also FFToday and K_J. My FFToday character is actually the best one!

It was the first reason. I already have 3 characters that I am trying to keep active, so I really don't want to try to get anymore.
