When a league member states unequivocally that they neither like, nor trust me in a league that I am commissioning, I most certainly do have the authority to boot him.

However, there already is that option in BOTH of the proposed methods (yahoo/draft randomizer). I am not "kicking someone out for disagreeing with me" - that's quite an interpretation. As Ace himself said: I welcomed him back to the league with open arms in the Yahoo invite, and that was after his 1st round of stirring the pot in here. So obviously I recognize the value of having dedicated competition in the league and am willing to overlook some level of antagonism. I don't expect everyone to love or "worship" me, but at least I would think things like "trust" and "respect" are appropriate.

Agreed - it's the same thing. The nice thing about the randomizer is that I can use both team name and email address. as I said, I'll post the link later.

 

And really, when I told Ace that it was legit and that he could try it for himself, that should have ended all of this. He could have simply waited a couple of hours for me to post the link and try it for himself. If after actually using the thing he still felt the way he felt, I would have gladly put it up for league vote as to whether we needed a 'neutral party' to run the randomizer.

Colston is a WR, so that's definitely something we'll need to vote on as a league pre-draft. I thought we voted on this last year and consensus was that he was a WR and could not be used at the TE position.

 

This does bring up an important point though...if anyone has any similar issues that are "gray areas" or in any way questionable, please bring it up before the draft for league vote. In 10 days we should be able to get any and all potential issues settled amiably.

Whether or not it does better the league is an opinion either way....I never stated it as fact and I never said I would absolutley object to the randomnizer.....all I said was we should consider using a neutral party and putting it up for vote. I don't take any of that back and I will always continue to try to better the league with any recommendation I can think (and we all should). I've commished countless leagues myself....and needless to say your style and mine are COMPLETE opposites but that's cool. Good luck. I can't imagine anyone that spends time here (that isn't already committed to this league) would want to play in league with scooter especially since he is commish and is arguing already and trying to take control. That makes about 95%+ of all threads scooter is in he's arguing with someone, blaming them, calling them names. But it's always the other's guy's fault. Scooter, I think you over reacting just a little. It's personal for you, but from the outside, you BOTH are just bickering. Would you give the same response to Clash if he brought up about someone questioning the draft if you so happen to get the first pick? I think probably not.

 

I like both Scooter and ACE and don't want to see anyone, especially owners who made it through last year.

 

I agree with Scooter that the Randomizer is almost impossible to hack.

 

I don't give a rat's a$$ who puts the addresses in, hell, I'll let my 9yr old daughter enter it in, as long as I know the outcome before the day of the draft.

 

Another option is to draft in the order of season ending standings from last year, kinda like NFL.
