Saturday Night Beaver 2 Posted June 12, 2007 Joshua Jackson of Dawson's Creek. Former Dawson's Creek actor Joshua Jackson has reportedly beaten some of Hollywood's biggest names to land the title role in Fletch Won. Jackson will play investigative reporter Irwin 'Fletch' Fletcher, a part made famous by Chevy Chase in the 1985 comedy Fletch and its 1989 follow-up Fletch Lives, according to website Iesb.net. Among the actors previously linked to the role were Brad Pitt, Jason Lee, Ryan Reynolds and Zach Braff. KSB2424 3,172 Posted June 12, 2007 I lived in the city that "Dawson's Creek" was filmed at in the late 90's. I would always see Joshua Jackson out at this one restaurant/bar. Dude was just as you would expect, a totally lush with is alcohol and a complete nerd. Its amazing what TV does for you because this guy had a jacked up face (i.e. zits and scars everywhere) in person and was always drunk trying to hit on the ladies with absolutely no success.
