Three reasons my daughter will be in the Olympics, someday

Recommended Posts

Actually, she's the smallest on her club team. Maybe the picture makes her look bigger than she is. We are actually hoping she has a growth spurt soon, so that she doesn't get pushed around by defenders as she gets older.

Her game is based on pace and moves. She's always been small for her age.

Heh, maybe my sisters are just smaller for their age then. ;)

My 12 year-old sister is still reading about 5'2" on those height projections they give you every time you go to the doctor.

5'2" is probably about what I expect mu daughter to end up.

With her last report card, they sent home a physical analysis. It said she was 54" tall and weighed 67 lbs. It says she was at 11% for her age. That means she's pretty small.

The good thing about being female is that as long as you are attractive, height really doesn't matter. Just look at Tom Cruise.

:dunno: ummmm... you better tell her to stop leaning back and get over the ball a bit more. The one in this picture is clearly gonna' be high and wide. Maybe FG kicking is more her thing.

Well, she knew I was taking her picture, so she may have been overstriding, a little. The photo catches her just as her foot is planting. If it were taken 1/10th of a second later, her body would have been much more forward.

If you compare her picture with this instructional picture, her form looks pretty close, to me.

Textbook, instructional soccer kick

My daughter in, virtually, the same pose

(Hell, even my daughter's headband seems to be applied correctly)

:shocking:

If I'm the opposing coach I give her the Racki treatment.

Tell her to keep working hard. No matter what, I am sure you'll be proud of her.

Beautiful, no?

I might suggest a few things you need to pick up at the store prior to her teenage years:

1) A large handgun

2) GPS tracking materials

3) Razor wire (for perimeter of yard and bedroom window)

YWIA.

ETA:

4) Shovel for moat.

5) 1 large dragon.

6) Oil for filling moat

I know. I know.

I plan on throwing some acid on her when she turns 14.

A little cruel, I know, but I believe I'll sleep better.

Better rip off a leg too.

Most teenage boys can get past some facial scarring.

 We're hoping for beautiful and athletic kids, if they come out a little weird looking I may ship them off :dunno:

They all come out a little "weird looking." When the wrinkles, redness, and cone head go away, then they are kinda cute.

:P

I think it's great she has a dad to teach her soccer and help highlight her hair properly
