sawilson 1 Posted October 24, 2007 It was for entertainment values. I thought that the geeks here could come up with some pretty funny turn downs, and some did. But then it turned into another thread about me and BP and I already said I wasn't disucssing that so I deleted it.

Next time don't post about your internet relationships especially when they are stupid moves like living with someone you just met a few times over the internets with a young son at home. Strike 6,023 Posted October 24, 2007 It was for entertainment values. I thought that the geeks here could come up with some pretty funny turn downs, and some did. But then it turned into another thread about me and BP and I already said I wasn't disucssing that so I deleted it. Saw, A couple of things: 1) You really ought to come clean about the BP thing. You don't have to give every detail but a simple explanation and then never speak about it again is in order. You had no trouble acting like a giddy school girl in love when things were going great with him. Now that things (apparently) are on the rocks you really ought to at least offer basic explanation or you don't have much reason to be pissed if people joke about it. If you didn't want it discussed here you should have never discussed it here yourself. 2) Deleting threads is a bad practice. I site mod for a large site and the owner used to allow deletion of threads. The thing is, while one person starts it, a lot of "intellectual capital" is added by those who respond. Here it's a bit more base than on most boards but it has value none the less, and people spend time thinking of responses. When a thread has a bunch of responses and then is just wiped out as if it had never existed it removes a lot of potentially valuable intellectual capital. And, especially if the original poster has only posted once or twice in the thread while there might be pages of posts from others, this isn't fair.

Well Said. #1) Could you please PM the above to Riddlen?? #2) Yeah, I wasted valuable keystrokes beating Saw down in that thread. What a GYP! My boss wants his 5 minutes back. #3) Absolutely, not too many things worser on a forum that starting a thread then deleting when it doesn't go your way. Very Douche-Baggy. gocolts 300 Posted October 24, 2007 Maybe we need someone to secretly save these threads before they get deleted. It may be difficult but you start with people likely to do a delete. And how the thread was going and if it had some good stuff in it.

Me_2006 14 Posted October 25, 2007 How the fock do I miss these things? Am I going to have to drop out of school to keep up with the Geek bored drama? Someone fill me in. Preferrably not CNG as I'd like an unbiased synopsis.

Ask yourself: six months from now, what will I remember more, attending a statistics lecture, or a thread about sawilson having too many dating options? I think you know the answer, grasshoppa. This is the stupidest focking thing to ever hit this bored---ever. I suggest if you really want details, email the ho and ask her. That way we can stop having to listen to this utter garbage. 2) Good call.

wiffleball 4,797 Posted October 25, 2007 Okay, "Me" her post went a little something like this: How do you get guys to stop asking you out? I mean, I have SOOOOO many guys asking me out now that I'm single. It's like, totally annoying. With some guys I am VERY blunt, but with other guys (editorial comment: "Who I plan on blowing later, but right now want to be a diick tease and keep my options open"), I don't know how to tell them that I'm not emotionally ready right now. I'm not going to get over a guy by getting under another one, and I just want to be friends. Then basically everybody saw through that to be a lame attempt to make BP jealous. Which, is a really clever tactic - if you're 12.
