wiffleball 4,790 Posted June 30, 2008 And that pretty boy Hayden Christensen who played Skywalker in the new Star Wars movies with her is even worse at acting. Gotta agree with that one. Good forcking Lord, I'm not sure I've seen worse acting than his. More to the point, he was a real diick. I don't mean "diick" like crush your windpipe with your mind diick, I mean, petulant, pouty, spoiled little boy kind of diick. Darth Vader he is not.
Savage Beast 1 Posted June 30, 2008 Wow. We are seriously going to have to disagree. Portman was amazing in The Professional. All she had to do was play a little girl in that film, and since she was about 12 years old at the time she played herself. Where's the talent in that? No. The chick in little miss sunshine plays a little girl. Portman played that role spectacularly.
MisanthropicAnthropoid 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Kaenu Reeves instantly comes to mind Which made him absolutely awesome for Bill and Ted. But yeah, he can't act. I'm going to have to disagree with some of the other options thrown out here. Brad Pitt is rather believable playing brash, young guys (Se7en) and spectacular playing someone mentally unstable (Fight Club, 12 Monkeys). Also, Natalie Portman is absolutely fabulous in The Professional. She can act, she's just had some bad roles. Hayden Christensen is bloody awful. Will Ferrell sucks as well. Now the worst actor of ever is probably Harold Warren.

jets24 6 Posted June 30, 2008 What about 25 million per film actor Tom Cruise? He can't act for crap, but he is a master of the Scientology scam. He would make a used car salesman. Just completely disagree. Cruise is one of the best actors out there today. People who mention him, Denzel, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis are completely nuts in my opinion. Those four are all multi faceted actors. Reeves and Natalie Portman get my vote. Also....Lisa Kudrow.

Johnny Ringo 0 Posted June 30, 2008 gene hackmannick cage mr. t tina turner tom cruise lucy lawless You put Gene Hackman on the same list as Nick Cage and Mr. T??? No way on Hackman...he's actually very good...and has been for a long time. Tom Cruise did pretty well in Rainman and Born on the 4th of July...the rest of his stuff is usually safe, guy flick action roles. But he's not in the same category as Cage when it comes to suckiness...not even close. I'll go with Nick Cage, Keanu Reeves and Ben Affleck as the Holy Trinity of Bad Actors. Hayden Christenson sucks @ss too, but he hasn't really done enough films to really bother me that much. I challenge anyone to beat the winning Super Trifecta ticket of Cage, Reeves and Affleck. Porky....while I appreciate your opinion, I think most people would agree with me and it has nothing to do with man love. The guy was phenomonal in Seven. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actor if I remember correctly. I know that he was up for a few Golden Globes for Babel and Legends of the Fall. Sorry bud but you're in the minority here, I think.

IGotWorms 4,058 Posted July 1, 2008 Brad Pitt should not be included here. He pretty much sucked early on in his career and it looked like he would just be some shitty-ass actor that women and edjr would fawn over just because he was good looking, but then he started doing movies like 12 Monkeys, Se7en, and Fight Club. I thought he was pretty good in all three of those. He was also good in Babel, though I thought that movie kind of sucked altogether (it was just way too over the top). Hell, I even thought he was pretty good in Meet Joe Black, though that movie itself was not particularly memorable.
Savage Beast 1 Posted July 1, 2008 I liked him in Se7en. I liked him in Fight Club. I really liked him in 12 Monkeys. He plays crazy people quite well. His best role as a crazy guy was in his 1993 movie Kalifornia.
CantTouchThis 23 Posted July 1, 2008 I thought Brad sucked, then i saw se7en, then i saw Fight Club. Definitely did a great job in both of those. In Fight Club, he was acting with Edward Norton who always does a masterful job in any role he plays, so, maybe his performance was downplayed because he was doing it with one of the best actors in hollywood. Also, Denzel, DeNiro, and Nickolson got mentioned in this thread? I know he was just saying they play the same role, but, still. Those 3 would certainly be in the best actors of all time thread, maybe get a few mentions in an overrated thread because it seems there are a few nutjobs who think every bignamed actor is overrated. I am glad Tom Hanks wasn't mentioned, it seems there are a bunch of people who say Tom Hanks can't act, i am like wtf are you smoking? All i got to say to those people is watch Forrest Gump, i don't think an actor had mastered a role better than him in that movie. As for horrible actors, Ben Stiller is a good pick, pretty much any singer turned actor minus Will and Ice Cube, arguably LL. Also pretty much every athlete turn actors minus Kareem on Airplane Actresses, J.Lo is just awful, you can insert anyone who is just on screen cause they are uber hot. Why all the hate for Cage? Maybe it's because i am a huge fan of guy-action movies. I really liked Con Air, really liked The Rock, REALLY liked the National Treasure. I mean, as far as pure acting skills, he certainly isn't up there among the best, but, i think he does a good job in most of his roles.
Savage Beast 1 Posted July 1, 2008 Actresses J.Lo is just awful I can't believe I forgot about her. She can't act for crap either.
Lionsjunkie 1 Posted July 1, 2008 Natalie Portman is a focking terrible actress. The only movie I have seen that she was even okay in was Closer, and I think that is just because Jude Law and Clive Owen carried her performance. And I gotta disagree big-time on George Clooney. Look at the role he plays in movies like Ocean's 11 and compare that with his performances in Syriana or Michael Clayton. The dude can obviously play more than one character. Plus he is a pretty good writer and director as well. Completely disagree on Portman...she is young and has has some decent roles to date. V for Vendetta Closer Garden State ~ I didn't think she was that bad Definetly not in the same category as a J.Lo Clooney and Pitt are not bad actors at all, Clooney may not be the best but he's certainly not one of the worse. I'd agree with Reeves & Barrymore as actors/actresses that can't hold there own.
mmmmm...beer 807 Posted July 1, 2008 Giovanni Ribisi and Juliette Lewis ........... FOCKING AYE I think both these focksticks are HORRIBLE I can NOT believe either one of them actually gets a job shoveling the sh!t of focking elephants at the focking zoo much less paid to be in movies. Kinda curious about how he does in the Benjamin Button movie. He was good in A River Runs Through It and Legends of The Fall playing a slight variation of the same character...a guy who is a bit of the rebel family wise but still loyal to it.
