No, I was talking about the Game thread. Someone watching the game filled us in on the low down. It's no big deal or anything. Just letting you know where someone who is actually watching the game has posted about what is going on with K Smith. I believe he is just ridding the bench for no apparent reason if you can believe that. Freaking Lions.

Rudi Johnson looked great today. He ran fast and with power. His pass blocking was solid too. It was only a matter of time.

 

It looks like he's really getting a hold of this offense: 14 carries for 83 yards and 3 receptions for 48 yards (plus a touchdown)

I went searching some Lions Forums and only found one with any info. The poster basically said that Smith was missing a ton of blocks getting Kitna nailed for it. Since this was a Lion's fans observation of the game, take it for what it's worth.

 

Without seeing the game, I would tend to believe this if there isn't an injury. When your down 21 points so fast, you tend to need to throw more and need your back to block. Rudi has more size and experience in NFL blocking schemes.

According to the play by play Kevin Smith's last play was a Kitna sack and fumble. On the very next snap Rudi was in there. Although that didn't seem to stop Kitna getting sacked.
