Voltaire 4,567 Posted October 7, 2009 There's the run we needed. Hopefully Rodney can shut this game down now.
p.man 7 Posted October 7, 2009 It's still top of tenth with one out. The pitcher has been staring down the batter for about ten minutes.

p.man 7 Posted October 7, 2009 Who would the Yanks rather play?
swirvenirvin 25 Posted October 7, 2009 Nice play Polanco. Double Play to end the game and you cant even get your glove on it
Big Blue 06 195 Posted October 7, 2009 Who would the Yanks rather play? Whichever team wins the game after 19 innings of tie ball.
joneo 529 Posted October 7, 2009 Nice throw by the LF though. ( replay looks like he was safe at home)
swirvenirvin 25 Posted October 7, 2009 "Line Drive, Base Hit, Caught in Left Field" WTF
ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 7, 2009 To recap: - Raburn can't field at a high school level...but he has a cannon for an arm. - Polanco, the defensive rock...continues to be shaky - Rodney performed better than I would have expected, but I'm glad the Twins ran into that out. Yer mom 2 Posted October 7, 2009 Not being a fan of either of these teams, I have to admit it could be the best game ive ever seen considering whats on the line here. Holy shiitballs
p.man 7 Posted October 7, 2009 "Line Drive, Base Hit, Caught in Left Field" WTF I thought the same thing. The ball wasn't even close to the ground either.
Voltaire 4,567 Posted October 7, 2009 How close was the play at the plate?
joneo 529 Posted October 7, 2009 Top of the line-up. I predict this will be the Twins last chance. If they can't get it done here, they are going to be facing the meat of Detroits batting order. Too many lost chances.
ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 7, 2009 How close was the play at the plate? He actually might have been safe, but the throw beat him there and he touched the far front corner of the plate...no ump would have given it to him.
swirvenirvin 25 Posted October 7, 2009 How close was the play at the plate? Throw beat him by a good amount awful tag by Alexis, like he had never done it before. If Raburn doesnt catch it he is walking home, so there was no reason for him to get off the bag then he stuutered a bit and tried to tag. He would have made it if he tagged correctly
swirvenirvin 25 Posted October 7, 2009 If they can't get it done here, they are going to be facing the meat of Detroits batting order. There is no meat of Detroit lineup. Also this is Rodney's last inning after this some loser is going to come in
ZeroTolerance 582 Posted October 7, 2009 Ump gives one back to the Tigers, striking Cabrera out on a pitch 6 inches outside.

GettnHuge 1 Posted October 7, 2009 3 different times if any one of these detroit PANSIES would have just let the ball hit them the game would be over. But nooooooo avoiding a bruise is more important than winning
