I was called a ###### and a twat, and all other kinds of names. But...since I deleted a thread, I guess it's okay right? There WERE negative things about me in that thread, whether you choose to believe it or not.

My comment earlier about making an apology for deleting the thread when I receive an apology for being called names was COMPLETELY in jest. It will NEVER happen. I have been called names on this site since day one, as has my husband, and possibly my children. I remember receiving ONE apology, maybe two when I asked people to stop calling my husband names. Yet, some continue to do it...why, because *I* am the childish one, right? Of course.

 

Yes, everyone on this site gets called names daily. That's part of the charm.

 

And when you are the queen of "Look at MEEE!!" threads, you are going to get some negative feedback.

 

Either deal with it, or go post at the focking stewart smiley affirmation bored or something.

It thread titled something like Those "Peaceful" Muslims and "Global Warming" but it had nothing to do with either. RLLD had a link in another thread to it because RP had changed the title to cover up story about us all being whiny about the great economy circa Jan 2008.

 

He's trying to play it off cool but it was clearly an embarrassment for him for changing the title. RLLD gets the credit for pointing it out.

I own you right now. Everyone sees it. It's hard for you to deal with, I understand. Just a friendly tip, you may want to abandon your normal one-trick-pony routine for a few days and visit the mange board until this all blows over. Talk some sports....maybe even make some comments on the cheerleader thread or spend a few days in the garage working on the truck bomb. I know that would be uncomfortable for you but it's worth a few days of calming down and taking stock of your role on the board.

1. I edited nothing. The thread is still there in it's entirety for you to read each and every post in context. Cliff's Notes version: After hearing news reports discussing the Rick Perry secession comments, and hearing TX was the only state to be an independent country, I posted that.

 

Tiki did some research and claimed Hawaii, Vermont, and Cali were independent countries/republics. Upon review I admitted I was wrong on Hawaii cuz I was going off news reports. And I pointed out what is in my sig about Cali. Tike still claims the California was an independent Republic. My pointing this out has sent him over the edge.

 

He has made up not one, but two quotes to use in his sig line. Pretty funny to me.

 

2. Tiki bumped a 13 month old thread which nobody else showed interest in, so I deleted it to further fukk with him. Mission accomplished, since he has become further unhinged. Reallly funny to me.

Well after putting in my post, I actually read the whole focking thread. Now, my head hurts.

 

1. I asked whether it is equally possible that you edited your original posts. The reason is that you can edit posts on this bored and there is nothing that shows that the text was edited. Trust me, I look like a focking genius after I make preseason predictions, edit them at the end of the season and then bump the thread. The stuff about states and stuff is really not my concern.

IF I recall it went through about 4-5 titles, all the while people posting as it went along. It ended up with the "Peaceful Muslim" title cuz I either got bored and went ot bed, or others stopped posting in it.

 

Anyhoo......it ended up being 5-6 pages with around 1500 views.....pretty played out. The fact Tiki took the time to find it is sad enough......given he has become unhinged cuz I deleted it is really, really, sad.

 

And to answer your other question, no it's not the only thread of mine I have deleted. A few months ago some assdart (don't remember who) thought it would be a good idea to bump every thread I ever posted making fun of man made global warming. All the sudden the first page was filled with them, so as a courtesy I deleted them all.
