ramtuf6 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Pick #1 in a 14 team .25 PPR league. Pretty standard scoring with 6pts Passing TD's & 5pt yardage bonuses (300/400/500 passing yds & 100/200 receiving/rushing yds) We start: QB - RB - RB - WR - WR - FLEX - TE - K - DEF Team looks like this: QB - Matt Schaub, Joe Flacco RB - Adrian Peterson, Ryan Grant, Derrick Ward, Ray Rice, Chester Taylor, Earnest Graham WR - Roddy White, Anthony Gonzalez, Derrick Mason, Dominik Hixon TE - Tony Scheffler K - Jason Elam Def - Tampa Bay Round by Round breakdown - 1.01 - Adrian Peterson 2.14 - Roddy White 3.01 - Ryan Grant 4.14 - Matt Schaub 5.01 - Derrick Ward 6.14 - Anthony Gonzalez 7.01 - Ray Rice 8.14 - Chester Taylor 9.01 - Derrick Mason 10.14 - Earnest Graham 11.01 - Dominik Hixon 12.14 - Joe Flacco 13.01 -Tampa Bay Def 14.14 - Jason Elam 15.01 - Tony Scheffler Decently happy with this draft. First time doing a 14 team league and I feel I got some decent depth. Strong RB corp. Rice would be my 3. You stole him. Mason is a steady #3, nothing spectacular. Stay on the lookout for a sleeper WR or try to package Taylor & Graham for a #2/3 WR. Did anyone grab Crabtree? He's undrafted in quite a few leagues. Could be a real player for next to nothing. If Shaub stays healthy you'll make some noise. Nice job. Check me out above.
16 and 33 0 Posted August 31, 2009 Pick #2 in a 12 teamer NON PPR league 4 pt Passing TD's QB / 3 WR / 2 RB / TE / K / DST QB - Tom Brady RB - Ahmad Bradshaw, Donald Brown, Kevin Smith, Ray Rice, Michael Turner WR - Earl Bennett, Steve Breaston, Anthony Gonzalez, Chris Henry, Greg Jennings, Chad Ochocinco TE - Greg Olsen K - Robbie Gould DST - Jets by Round: 1.02 - Michael Turner 2.11 - Tom Brady 3.02 - Greg Jennings 4.11 - Kevin Smith 5.02 - Chad Ochocinco 6.11 - Anthony Gonzalez 7.02 - Greg Olsen 8.11 - Ray Rice 9.02 - Donald Brown 10.11 - Steve Breaston 11.02 - New York Jets 12.11 - Ahmad Bradshaw 13.02 - Chris Henry 14.11 - Earl Bennett 15.02 - Robbie Gould I've been the last guy to take a QB in this league the last four years. Decided to go a completely different direction - been kicking around the idea but honestly didn't make the decision until my 2nd rounder came up. Kind of amazed I got three decent receivers in the next four rounds after taking a QB so early. Love Olsen this year, and Rice/Brown as the RB3/RB4 has tremendous upside. Bradshaw and Henry have been killing it in preseason. Like Bennett but he probably gets cut in a month to fill a bye week. OK, somebody bump this when I'm 1-4. Da Jesus 0 Posted August 31, 2009 not reall happy with mine but here we go.....2 leagues start 1 qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 te, 1 flex (wr/rb ) def, kteam 1 (9th pick) 12 teams....both are ppr qbs-------rodgers (keeper as 8th rounder ) romo rbs--- westbrook, brown( 4th round keeper), mccoy, s greene, maroney wrs----colston, roy williams, hines ward, hixon josh morgan tes----carlson, finley k---kris brown def- pats not happy but ok with my starting line up 2nd draft 12th in 12 team league qbs----mcnabb rbs----westbrook, deangelo ( 4th round keeper ), jamal lewis, coffee, mccoy, hightower (15th round keeper ) wrs-----wayne, driver, hixon, chambers, breaston, josh morgan te---olsen def-packers k- rackers not real happy about either but feel ok with starters........ the keepers because that rookie class last year really hurt a lot of people....... thoughts? Starting with team 1, you've obviously got an extremely strong QB duo (Love Rodgers this year and pissed I passed on him when I had the chance). Since you handcuffed McCoy w/Westbrook you should be in good shape there, however it looks like you'll be relying on your WR's for your flex position as your backup RB's are a little thin. Solid WR's (although not a fan of Williams) and I like your TE's. If it were me, I'd try to get yourself another RB through trade or WW. Team 2 - Like McNabb but no backup will be an issue. You're in a little better shape with this team as far as depth in both WR's and RB's. If a couple of your WR's really break out at the beginning of the season, you may be able to shore up at QB and RB with a trade.
